I’m honestly happy that more mlb teams are letting fans have watch parties inside their home stadiums when they can’t be at home to win the WS. The fans deserve it, congrats to the Rangers!
They're awesome. I went to the St. Louis Blues one for 2019 Cup Final Game 7 at Busch Stadium (which was only even a thing because Enterprise Center - a nearly 19,000 seat arena - completely sold out the actual watch party in 5 minutes). So the Blues and Cardinals got together to organize another 25,000 fans in Busch to watch the game on TV. It was pouring rain during the game. No one cared. One of the best nights of my life
@@christophercasey6775pretty sure it was just something created during Covid when they tried locking everyone in their homes for months! If you really get down to it the government created the watch party as a way to keep you in your homes but it's nice to see it working in other ways than just online and at home!🤷🏼♂️
I was here that night and it was amazing. The atmosphere the whole night was electric. Was exhausted at work the next day, but would not have traded it for anything
With any team that has waited and wanted a title for so long, like the Cubs, it’s an emotional moment in their history. Congratulations to the Texas Rangers
I totally agree. It was a very emotional moment for me. I never cried when the Cowboys, Mavericks, or Stars won their titles, but I cried several times for the Rangers.
As a St. Louis, MO man born and raised a Cardinals fan I say CONGRATULATIONS RANGERS!! I was rooting for you to go all the way! Great manager in Bochy, great former pitching coach Mike Maddix, former Cardinals players. Awesome. No more heartbreak Rangers fans. You did it! Enjoy!!!!❤❤❤🍾🍾🍾🍾🏆🏆🏆🏆
As an Indians fan, I was completely disappointed yet happy for the Cubs at the same time. It was amazing finally seeing a team with the longest drought win the series. The Cubs deserved it that year. 💯
I think I was 4 when I went to my first Rangers game. I’m 49 now and I’ve kept up with every game in those 45 years. I remember listening to Mark Holtz on WBAP. His partner was a young man named Eric Nadel 😁
Deepest congratulations from me, a Cardinals fan. Prior to the 2011 series, I had made a road trip to Dallas and the Rangers fans I talked to were so nice. Since the 11 series, the Rangers have become my de facto second favorite team. So happy that you guys have finally brought the championship home. Enjoy the year long celebration, well deserved!
Growing up as a Yankee fan and watching the struggles of this organization since their days as the Washington Senators, this is a long overdue celebration. Congratulations to the Rangers!
from a marlins fan, HUGE congrats to you all on the world series win!! was rooting for the rangers the whole time and i'm glad you guys finally won, enjoy the celebration!! ❤
My husband was there, 4th in line at the shop, going absolutely insane running back and forth, jumping up and down. I’ve been wearing the shirt he got me last night allllll day! I’m about to sleep in it tonight! We’re going to parade tomorrow, no doubt!
@@nativetunes1600 if you saw an awkward looking woman in a pinstripe jersey, limping around while pushing a toddler in a stroller, THAT was definitely mez
This is incredible! Congrats Rangers and the fans! My first MLB game in 20 years was watching the Rangers beat the Braves at home and man it was exciting. Great stadium, great team! Soak it in!
I started watching the Rangers…when the MLB allowed their games to be on local television…in 1999. It was great to see them finally win the World Series.
Congrats from St. Louis, may the pains of my team's past glory (and your teams misery) forever be vindicated! Enjoy victory, D-FW, it a pretty sweet feeling
So excited that the Rangers won!!! But I feel so sorry for those poor security guys having to chase down those fans who acted like hoodlums. These guys especially should have gotten to celebrate instead of chasing down these idiots during this moment. Come on guys let's show some respect. They work hard all year so we can enjoy the games. Let's go Rangers!!!
I'm pretty sure the Texas Rangers just singlehandedly saved baseball from a grim fate. Like I'm not sure? But it feels like it in this very post orgasmic afterglow.
I was at the in arena home watch parties for the '16 and '17 Stanley Cups the Penguins won back in Pittsburgh. These are super fun and glad to see more teams doing it.
OMFG this feels so nice. It's been a very very long time of heartache for us Rangers fans. Great Going Rangers. and thank you for this. Bruce Bochy has achieved almost God like status in Arlington. Imagine the reaction if they had won it in Arlington. OMFG
congrats to texas a very long wait indeed, im a braves fan and even tho ive seen 2 in my life time, 1995 and 2021 it still feels great every time, i had to wait 26 years after the one in 1995 and i think 2 WS losses before the 2021 win, enjoy it :)
They handled that very well with all the fans running on the field being human and understanding the significance of what people are experiencing. No need to be aggressive and combative it’s all in fun. Well played everyone nice peaceful celebratory experience for all
@@TrevorJasonBridges The fact that only a few people are doing that could be the reason people think that they are idiots. Also think about what Arlo Guthrie says near the end of the “Alice’s Restaurant Massacre”: that the fewer people that do something, the less it will be tolerated.
Tbh I can understand them running on the field if it was won at Globe Life but to do it at a Watch party when they won in Phoenix?!?! 😂🤦🏽♂️ Anyways Congrats Texas and Corey Seager!!!!! 😃🙏🏽🏆🙌🏽
ok soooo i gotta ask... why didnt they let fans on the field... it was the first ever WS win for the team, i mean come on relax, even security was trying to pull dude back over the wall, i mean chill out...... in 2021 when the braves did the same thing while atlanta was in houston on the final game, there was fans all over the field during the game, no one cared, even after the game everyone was celebrating on the field, some people were laying in the grass watching, they did have the infield closed off i think but imagine laying down on the home teams grass while watching them on the big screen win the WS, im not hating on texas or trying to sound like atlanta is better, but it seemed alil over the top to be that picky, it looked like even the lower level section as closed off..
Well I don't think its asking too much to be respectful. If they don't want you on the field, they don't want you on the field. They didn't have to allow people in there for a watch party. Like 99% of the people in there celebrated right where they were standing. Plus its not like they were being assholes to the people once they caught them, I saw some of them hugging walking off the field lol. Them guys are just trying to do their job.
I gotta stop smoking hash... I sat here for a good min or two wondering why there weren't fans in lower decks or why I didn't see the players lmao... 🤣
These streakers, trespassers and gatecrashers were probably all Rangers fans. They wanted to create their own celebrations on their first world series championship---but sadly---ILLEGALLY! They were ALL CAUGHT, and EVENTUALLY ALL ARRESTED.
Its fun to celebrate that your team wins, but dont a spoiled apple ruin your celebration. I mean if security is asking you to not do that, dont do it and maybe more teams will allow this type of events.
If no fans are to be on the field at the end of the game, this should be the stadium announcer’s job first and foremost. I have read of a pair of fans at an NC State football game who got away from state trespassing charges because the stadium announcer said nothing about running on the field at the end of the game; therefore, no reasonable notice was given.
I’m so glad that we are World Series champions, but we got stupid people running and throwing trash on the field. Like these people need to grow up and show an example to the younger generation
