They do have seat belts but as a kid you are not required to wear them. I am guessing but I think the car crashed into the bus at high speeds after crash resulting in even more damage.

I hate to hear kids died i lost a 7 yr old niece. My prays go out to the families . Just know youll never get over it. But itll get better as tome goes by . I know thats hard to beliebe but its true itll get easier

I am so concerned by seeing these accidents . God Bless all the kids and their families and heal them too. I just wonder why the Seats on school buses do not have seat belts and we are mandated to have them in our cars. At least, we are adults and may know how to react in an accident but little kids by themselves in school buses are not protected when things like this happen .

Did the kids in the school bus have seatbelts in? If not would a seatbelt have saved the child that died on the bus? I always wondered why there are not seatbelts and don’t require them.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out the truck driver had a "medical emergency." Lots of those on the roads these days. LOTS of them since the shots rolled out. Zombie pilots, too. They seize up sometimes. Die of heart attack mid-flight 30 seconds out of Chicago O'Hare. Things like that.
