An excellent band and so glad Ally got his lost Gibson Sunburst guitar back sometime after this interview. It had been handed in to lost property at the charity concert and because Ally had not realised it was missing for a while, it was moved from lost property for safekeeping by someone who did not know whose guitar it was. He then left it with a friend when he emigrated. That friend heard of Ally's story, tracked him down and handed it over to him. A happy ending.
I love this band....been following them in the US for many years. They never really broke through like some other British bands. I like that as their music is better than POP. Have all their albums and love their sound. And Sharleen is awesome as solo or in with Texas. Great life story too.
To Andrew JS. She's not totally Scottish, I'm more Scottish than her because I love Kishorn, Kyle of Lochalsh, Portree. French but my heart is in Scotland for ever. Don't leave UK but, leave Europe Union. Sturgeon and Barnier are crooks. UE is not for people just for richmen. Yuk !
Not forgetting H20. Dream To Sleep and Blue Diamond are both excellent. I have been listening to Deacon Blue since 1987 when Raintown stunned me as one of the best albums I had ever heard. I was 17 that summer and it still sounds incredible. The Bluebells also released some great singles.
I am Swiss.. so as an European as we with actually a very high level of the English language.. But the Scottish Dialect is completely another topic 😆☝️ But so glad that Ali had such a great recovery ❤❤❤
Don't know why this band didn't break through like other groups from across the pond fantastic lead singer great singing voice awesome awesome stage presence Sharleen's a looker, sensuality OFF THE HOOK MAN, don't see how her man can stand for her to be on tour Saw this movie bend it like Beckham the soundtrack just jumps out at you man, I'm TEXAS fan got to get their MUSIC,great great band man great band. Got to see this band at least once
