As someone who grew up in Texas, Mikey needs to try Buc-ee's. It's the largest gas station in the world that has a lot to offer. Their BBQ sandwiches are amazing, jerky is great, fudge is super good, basically the best kind of food that you'll ever see in a gas station. Not to mention their bathroom is insanely clean. Any and all Texans can vouch!

What I like about Chen is he goes where the food is irregardless if it's in a city, or in suburban or rural America. Many people scoff at the latter two, but his taste buds carry so presumptions, where the outcomes are admirable and educational. He gives credit where it's due.

Mikey, here's a helpful tip about TX Driver's License. Get your car registered first, at the Tax Assessor office. Then go get your DL. The TX Department of Public Safety (DMV) will require a TX registration for your car in order to get a DL. (Or you can lie and tell them to you don't have a car.) Lastly, the day after getting your car registered, expect a lot of robocalls about renewing your car's warranty. Start screening your calls.

Suggestion for your next visit to Whataburger... Order biscuits and gravy but ask for the jalapeno cheddar biscuit, then ask for two sausage patties, and “two round fried eggs”(if you just say “eggs” you will get scrambled eggs). Assemble as follows…. Split the biscuit and put a sausage patty and fried egg on each biscuit half, and then drench with gravy. You will need a knife and fork to eat…. Very addictive!

@darthjarjarbinks8953
@darthjarjarbinks8953 3 года назад
@@himmyturner101 Sure. In states like California, Illinois, and New York, there are certain policies implemented that differ from those in places like Texas and Florida. Generally speaking, the former have liberal policies while the latter have conservative policies. People that move to Texas and Florida generally move there from states like California, New York, and Illinois to escape these so-called “progressive” policies and taxes. The thing is, they vote for these same policies after they move, despite these things being the very reason they left their home states. Oregon, for example, used to be a red state (voted almost exclusively Republican) up until the 80s, when many Californians started moving there, thus turning the state blue (democrat). I believe it was either in 1984 or 1986 when they were having a gubernatorial election that the Republican incumbent’s running slogan was “Don’t Californacate my Oregon”, which basically meant don’t screw up my state because you screwed up yours and you won’t fix it. That’s why many Texans now say, “Don’t California my Texas” because they like these conservative policies and don’t want to have to go through what California went through. California used to be the American dream, but too many people sought this dream and destroyed it; now they are moving throughout the country and destroying what’s left of the good states. That’s why most people hate it when they see someone moving in to their neighborhood with a California license plate or something. TLDR: They left because of liberal policies yet continue to vote for these same policies and mess up yet another great state.

@@jasonhughes9916 I lived in Frisco/Mckinney, so I never really went down to Dallas much, but from personal experience, Shiraz Grill is really nice, and I’ve heard good things about Samad Cafe. Most of the restaurants are listed under Mediterranean, so if you’re wanting something specific, like Turkish or Persian, then I’d search using those terms (check out yelp, they’ve got good listings and reviews) rather than Middle Eastern/Mediterranean, because it’ll mostly be East Mediterranean fusion. Honestly though, the best food is homemade, so if you have any middle eastern friends, try asking their moms or aunties to make food, because that’s where the best food is (coming from someone with a big Iranian family lol). Hope that helps a bit.
