I whole heartedly disagree with your assessment saying UDub can't stop Michigan running the ball. Texas and Oregon are better running teams and avg almost 200 yds per game compared to Michigan's 160. Michigan is also the least explosive team in the CFP by a long shot and Michigan's #1 WR wouldn't even break into Washington's top 3, so outside of Corum Michigan's offense (which ranks 70th) leaves A LOT to be desired. Washington focus on stopping that run game just like they did against Oregon in the Pac title game. They couldn't completely stop Texas's running game because of how many dynamic players Texas has at WR/TE. UDub will make Michigan pass more than they want to which will let Bralen Trice attack that shaky Michigan pass protection.

I thought the same as you at first, that Sark abandoned the run. But I was reminded that nearly every time they got a 5 yard rush to make it 2nd and 5, they had a false start to take it back to 2nd and 10.

Washington is FINE taking the air out of the ball when they have a lead, and you saw some of that in the Sugar Bowl with their 6:1 time of possession ratio in the 3rd quarter. Total time of possession: Washington 36:20, Texas 23:40

Texas was never in the game like i predicted Bad coaching made Texas look better then they actually are. This game could very easily been a blow out

Washington can do whatever it wants on offense, even if DJ isn't available. UW can easily suck the clock down, take a lot of time and get results. If UW gets up they often do it and this year they were critical of not beating the crap out of teams.

UW is too strong up front to not wear out their opponents.

The problem with Texas should of ran it more is how many penalties they had. They were behind the chains the entire game, so they were forced to pass because of them, shooting their selves in the foot.
