Having the kids think about their thinking helps the students feel slef motivated and they begin to monitor themselves. This is a beautiful take away

The breakdown of Standard 3 was very helpful in realizing what kind of communication a teacher must have in the classroom. Teachers need to have strong verbal and nonverbal communication with students.

I appreciate the brief look at the ELPS Instructional Tool. I am always intrigued by that topic of discussion.

I liked the part about ELL kids, I can see where problems might arise and how to address them.

I like how you explain that teachers should plan instructions that motivate students to want to learn. Agency = Action.

It was beneficial to study the standards. Instead of merely instructing us to remember it, breaking down each domain's key elements and what we need to know helped me better understand the subject.

This is by far one of the very BEST sources of help for the state PPR tests. She goes deep into the why, without being overwhelming! I am so thankful for this. I hope you did a video for all the state tests. I would love to be part of a group study on zoom!

Instructional models: Inquiry is learning in a discovery way. Often, we do get direct instruction. There are simulations and role play help’s teachers to model expectations, which helps illustrate a point. Student centered learning is what is best for students to absorb material especially for ELL's because it is not just the student's hearing it explained one way but multiple ways from their peers.

This video reinforces everything else that Ms. Sauceda has gone over the other videos. I had already taken the PPR test once and failed. Ms. Sauceda explains it in a way that makes sense. Now I am making connection and understanding why I am picking the answer that I am picking on the test. I am confident now that I have understand Standard I but still need to get more familiar with Standard III. If you have not watched any of her other video you must!

The review of the standards was extremely helpful. Breaking down the important aspects of each domain and what we really need to know rather than just telling us to memorize it, allowed me to comprehend the topic more. This was a very useful way to annotate the document.

I personally like to review the Standards and feel like it is very important to cover all the ELL levels, which I know does come out alot in the test. I really do appreciate all the information and some materials I didn't know that existed online. Thank you for all this.

Helpful review! Major topic I took was "meta-cognition". The ability to promote the student to think on their own and analyze the lesson/topic. And to do lesson base on the students' interests to improve their self motivation about the topics.
