Back in the late 70's when I lived in St. Louis, MO, I used to fly to Abilene to eventually get to Hamlin, where I worked at a sheet rock plant to repair their machine. I really enjoyed the pace of living out there, compared to the city.

They didn't mention the Abilene Zoo? Only 3 places that are right smack dab in the same area?? What about the over 40 public parks or Abilene state park. And the other museums there.
