Everything was good until I set the style of my "com.google.android.material.textfield.TextInputLayout" as style="@style/Widget.MaterialComponents.TextInputLayout.OutlinedBox". My project compiles but crashes whenever it reaches the component. I tried to move the component to other fragments, and it only crashes when the component is about to be shown. Please help!

hello can anyone help me I am using the parent layout as constraint layout in that I have cardView in that I have again constraing layout in that I am using text input layout for doing edit text floating labels on edit text click , i have edit text inside the text input layout but when I run the app activiy comes my floating label is already set it to label even I do not touch on edit text , so this is wrong functionlaity cananyone help me please .. thanks in advance
