Great video, Ross. Since the texture comes in as a 'smart object', could you go into Camera Raw and darken (or lighten) it so that it would stand out more from the other image (the model) in luminosity and make the quick selection mask easier to render? Then, once the mask is made, go back to camera raw and reset the texture.
