Teyvat is Empty! Exploring Teyvat in Caribert Archon Quest

Yay it actually happened! While I was doing the quest I thought "it would be really nice if musashi found a way to break the map". And you did!

If you use the traveler and tried to go to the chasm, they'll turn back and actually speak something like "I shouldn't go too far, Dainsleif and Paimon are waiting/not back yet" I really like how we talk a lot in this quest compared to the others XD

“I shouldn’t stray too far. Dain and Paimon still aren’t back…” I NEVER SAW THIS DIALOGUE until after the quest, geez. But im glad I EVENTUALLY saw it, this is crazy. “still aren’t back” this quest was too good

When our map was blocked, we were in our sibling body, so in the past and a lot of people wasn’t born at this time but it’s weird that the environment didn’t changed as the time goes

Before the night falls, Paimon waits for you in the room, quickly press ESC and take a picture and you can have 2 paimons with you at once ^^ It was a great touch that you can't bring her up with ESC after she leaves you though!

I also noticed that those caves under this region are flooded even if you have already done the aranara quest

This is supposed to be a past memory hidden in the Leylines. To think that they got the whole of Tevyat acting as a magical surveillance system with the help of the Leylines and Irrminsul. This map area is a past memory. I wonder if it is because of those ever recording Leylines that this "sinner" person noticed Traveller experiencing the memory of the past.

I, too, tried to exit the map in this part, open the map and menu, etc. I was curious if leaving was even possible? glad to see Moosashi investigating this mystery.

moosashi playing the quest normally- impossible mode activated XD The duplicate map concept is so interesting though! Lore-wise though- (spoilers for upcoming archon quest) ... I like to think of it like the abyss sibling's memories of Teyvat filling in all the gaps of the map available so far (which is why places like the Chasm that should have been explored already but aren't, become filled in by the other twin.) Just imagine how the map would look like to a new player playing the Caribert quest 4 years later.. they wouldn't just see the chasm and enkanomiya's unfilled portions filled in, but the whole of Teyvat! But since the abyss twin's memory of anything that actually lived is of the past, the "present" is completely empty...it's creepy, almost like Teyvat as a whole fell into the backrooms. Would love for the final battle in genshin to make every single place in the world of Teyvat empty, with red skies or abyssal darkness. That'd freak me the fuck out and I'd love it

Another fun fact- the Statue of the Seven within the quest zone has the default healing settings. I had mine's auto-heal turned off because I often played with Kuki Shinobu, but the Quest Statue healed me when I walked up to it. The ones back in the normal world were still disabled, as I left them.

this is so intresting to see. while doing the quest myself i was very curious about what was outside the barrier.

If it isn't without that npc, that quest was somewhat eerie and kind of creepy when you think about it.

I was surprised when I heard Travaler voice after tried to go through the border of the map.

Since the traveler is in memory of their twin, i think every stuff shown must be what the twin saw, just the disappearance of peds and interactions to optimise gameplay

yess! when i was doing that domain quest, i was thinking about how much i was looking forward to moosashi breaking the game again, and even made me think how i can try things myself lol your channel has really made me more curious :-)

Cue me wondering if re-doing this boundary break post-Fontaine release would still be based on the 3.6 world map, or the then-new one.

I noticed also during this quest when you attemt to go out. Of bounds paimon wont stop you and instead the traveler will mention he shoudent stray too far dian and paimon arent back yet

Spoiler alert Suprisingly enough this can be explained by lore. Since it was some sort of Traveller's dream and their mind simply couldn't recreate the entire Teyvat. Edit: It was a memory, not a dream, my mistake. I guess that's what happens when you don't pay attention to the details of dialogues ;_;

Everyone probably noticed, but you can also see the difference between the statues of Sumeru.

Another oddity is that you wont get drop for killing things like the tigers or shroom boars

Also if you go into the cave below the house where that one little aranara-house is, the cave is also flooded. No idea if that was the case in the very beginning when first entering Sumeru tho

Lol knew it Moosashi video about this new parallel world would be coming up but not this soon. That map is basically a domain. You can't teleport, can't change team, can't use gadgets just like in domain. It also takes a bit longer than usual for first time to teleport you to the parallel world. I was scared to go beyond the red zone at first thinking it will reset the whole thing if I force out like Sabzeruz festival world. But traveler just refused to go out. Wow you can actually go that far? Will try this with my alt account 😶

weirdest thing is that when we had to go to the statue of 7, it kept healing me despite i have set the highest limits to how much heals my characters receive and somehow i realized my hutao fully regenerated HP 😂 but when i finished the quest, i checked to see if any HP was taken away and there wasn’t!

I'm kicking myself for not going out of boundaries during the archon quest. I could have seen the tababito out of bounds line.

This is simply desynchronisation just like in ac games, you are playing in someone’s memory so accessing regions where they did not go is invalid

Let's Exploring Teyvat in Caribert Archon Quest and go to the "snezhnaya" or "fontane" map! or another around map or closed teritory

My theory is that since it was all happening in the past (when we meet the Khaernri'ah guy with his son) Teyvat looks different, since it was all a "dream-which-is-actually-what-happened-but-from-sibling's-perspective" :D

I was about to say how you can out of bounds inside the caribert story domain, but i said so without watc hing fully to the end super interesting stuff that the map is lit up even though it shouldnt be and that even loading zones are gone

huh, it teleported you to the statue instead of the waypoint at springvale

conclusion with this is: With out Paimon, we can't do anything in this game, even just open the pause menu

The only missing tidbit that would have been interesting to investigate is what the shrouded domain door in the tunnel from Sumeru to Chasm looks like from behind

Just to be sure I finished the quest first anyway. And yeah I too noticed things missing. Or extra things. The cave to the North from the Statue of Seven is filled with water even if you have it drained in your world.

3:26 holy hell, can u do a video about unknown sanctuary as well ??? I tried really hard to comeback here. Thought it was under chasm so i flew all over from Khaenri'ah to Liyue but it was empty. I regreted so much for not explored the zone thoroughly while playthrough :(

this reminds me of the glitch that Brakuren found in the sumeru archon quest where you play as Nilou. it removed all the npc’s and particle effect’s everywhere and disabled all the waypoints. I tried to recreate it with this quest but it didn’t work ;-;

I didn't know about this but one thing I noticed was that you can't change your party members while doing the Caribert story quest.

quite sure they took map model, and only added things within zone. Doors, npc's, load things - all loaded by scripts, which were just not copied, since there was no need

also when you start to go into this part of the quest, you can hear the entering domain sound

It's good to see moosashi breaking the wap again, but ceribert is part of the traveller archon quest, not sumeru

Now I wonder, if they copied the whole overworld into this domain, or if it stops somewhere, like there are no Inazuma islands for example 🤔 Also interesting, if they did copy the whole world, if it gets updated as they add new areas - maybe this is an automatically made domain, so they did no handwork for erasing statues, portals and interactive elements

At the beginning of the quest, I logged into the game to handle my overcapping resin and teleported out of the area. I have no clue how but I did it unless there was a grace period that allows you to. Afterwards I went back to finish the quest so I didn’t notice anything different

playing the quest rn on my alt account and i was just thinking about breaking the barrier, and how the temple is situated where the chasm is. i want to believe that the chasm was created because of that temple, but the chasm itself is there sooo no cool lore point for me, still why there.

This quest feels empty bcs there's no noisy dialogue from Paimon as usual. For the first time I felt alone.

my game crashed during this quest and when i logged back in, i noticed that the starshrooms i'd picked in the memory world had reset. so i guess if you leave the world and go back to it... you have infinite materials???

I got the Mandela effect because while I play the quest I knew this is 500 years ago and thought I traveled in time or something, the first thing I did when I managed to move is move straight to the statue and focused on it because Obviously its 500 years ago so the statue supposed to be in form of rukkadevata and I thought its rukkadevata because he hair was long I toke screenshots and when I finished the quest and lioked again its the same statue of kusanali/nahida.. The obvious n only reason why the statue is in kusanali because it’s already over and nahida was created hence the statue ( you can hear the whispers).

Did anyone try to talk to those 2 npcs at 0:47? Is it possible during the quest?

"Why is our game getting so bloated? Surely it can't have anything to do with the fact we have multiple instances of the entire overworld, just with different things disabled." They should have just put a physical hard barrier keeping you in the area and deloaded everything outside of it, then just have a message to justify why you can't bypass it that isn't "I should stay here".

I more interested in Irminsul and how it control knowlegde and memory of teyvat.

why are the statues removed and how does it connect to the lore, any guesses?

They left animals and I killed them and got nothing. I feel scammed.
