If I wasn't setting money aside for TFCon Baltimore I'd be getting that Jazz from threezero. I want them to do Sunstreaker soon! Great news video, and I can't believe they are making a 20k$ Optimus, that is insane.
That “Clutch” figure with only 700 being made is based off of a G2 decepticon. Forgot which, I just know that it’s an underused character in general. Very cool though!
No mention of the MS-28A tapes team re-release? Looks like Rumble, Scout, Ravage, and Lazerbeak set of 4. Think they will release the other 3 as well, with another Soundwave maybe?
If Deluxe gets the chance to review OM's Drift, he better put some euro-beats during the transformation sequence. We gotta keep the Inital-D tradition!
I kind of hope Newage or Magic Square releases a box set for the dinobots, kind of like MFT did. I haven't picked up any of them yet and a box set would just save me (and others like me), a lot of hassle
Any idea if that Delta Magnus has a normal head as well? Their listing doesn't show it, and neither did the display but I thought it would be odd not to also include it.
I was just thinking how we need more Optimus Primesss and more Construticons.......oh wait, never mind......... Looking forward to mmc Groove. I've ignored the xtb Defensor since so many reviews put their Streetwise as one of the worst transformations of all time, but maybe I was too quick to dismiss them. Great news feed, always the highlights of my week.
I hope that Ocular Max Groove bot pic is just mistransformed. I know the previous renders and preproduction models didn't seem so... giraffey. That Drift looks amazing though. I'd love to get my hands on that Death's Head. I hope they don't get scalped for too much of a premium. That japanese publisher Kodansha is pronounced Koe-dawn-shah.
Lesson time! Emirate is a title, not a name. At least in Transformers lore. His name is Xaaron and he is an emirate. Calling him emirate is the equivalent to using just the word senator when talking about Shockwave or Ratbat. While it can be done and is technically correct, it's still not how we in the real world would address them. In the real world though, emirate is not a title. Emir is the title and an emirate is the territory that the emir oversees. An emir can refer to a male monarch, aristocrat, holder of high-ranking military or political office, or other person possessing actual or ceremonial authority. Xaaron fits some of these criteria being a political officer of high rank. While I like the look of the figure itself, I think maybe they should've used Perceptor instead if only to make him a bit taller. While Perceptor isn't quite as plain looking in robot mode compared to Reflector in the arms and legs, with a similar amount of retooling, it could still work. Since Perceptor already has tank treads as he technically turns into a "tank", you can use the budget for the turret and treads to redo the back and shoulder cannon of Perceptor along with the chest plate and head. Maybe even redo the forearms as well since you can't remove the dials on the SS figure so that the "tank" can lay flat. Using Perceptor would have kept Xaaron from being a partsformer as well as had a cleaner overall robot mode once the extra parts are put on Xaaron in robot mode while using the Reflector mold. I've heard some say to use Megatron due to the fact that Xaaron's design was based on Megatron. However that would make it use the figure that people are complaining about getting its twelfth use in the two pack with Orion Pax as it is. While I'm fine with the Siege and miner/gladiator versions of the mold, I'd rather not get yet another use of that mold thanks. That and well, that mold is way too big for Xaaron. He's supposed to be smaller than Impactor and while Reflector does fit the bill, that's only because Siege Impactor is too small to begin with. Impactor should be around Megatron's size. So Xaaron using Perceptor will still make him smaller than what Impactor should be but not making him too small. Oh well, too late now.
I know you want one, DLX. Get that preorder in for that life-size Prime from the Bumblebee movie bc you only live once. I'm pretty sure once you move into your new house, you will have plenty of space for him. JAJAJA
