I kinda like how they stuck to that instead of making all of them just comic relief characters. The whole cast is out of there head insane, but they all have very commendable traits too. Scout is physically fit far beyond anyone else, the Medic is a genius, the Engineer is a genius, Spy is well... the only one not totally bonkers, the Heavy is educated and physically extremely strong etc.

@@mrkoix2398 if i had to make a completely uneducated guess, maybe they took the raw taunt animation, tracked scout’s perspective in first person, and then removed any visual clutter as needed? And adjust the camera so it’s less motion sickness

tf_taunt_first_person 1 and cl_first_person_uses_world_model 1 does this but it doesn't actually attach the camera to your head, you can see through your body, etc

You can sort of do this in-game with the commands cl_first_person_uses_world_model 1 and tf_taunt_first_person 1, this forces taunts to be played with the thirdperson model and in first person, with the caveat that it doesn't follow the head, you still control the camera
