It looks like your negative post isn't sitting in there all the way! I had the same bend and I took the bottom of rba off and took negative post out and then put it back in and it fixed it!

Man, I've never been able to get this RBA to work.. It always just leaks all over the damn place once the coils gets hot. I always thought it might be the giant ass air holes under the coils just leaking juice down? I've retired the thing, I just don't know what I'm doing wrong with it.

I have this and the rba is not bent like this. smok quality is superb in my opinion and I never had a smok product fail me in two years. these new tanks and rda's have some quality control issues lately.

From what you have said , I'm going to stay with using the T8 prebuilt coils for the baby beast , and if I want great flavor , follow the advice of your other videos and go with spaced stainless steal , maybe 26 gauge (10 wraps) on a velocity style rda , thanks again for another good Vid

I have one thats bent a little but my RBA is fine you need to sort that out ;)

The wonky post can be fixed by undoing the base of the rba coil, straitened and refitted. Hope that helps ,but be carful when you do it they are a soft material you don't want to too forceful and break it.👌👌

Went into a vape shop yesterday, asking about Smok pre-built coils for my unit. They told me that they refuse to stock ANY Smok products due to the high amount of returns on faulty models and peripherals across the board. Looking to move into building my own in the future but will steer clear of this brand. I see in the comments below and all over the net that Smok appear to have an awful quality control system. All very hit or miss.

Hi, I am new to RBA. Was wondering what coil/resistance would work with this? would these work 24 AWG / 0.5105 mm Resistance: 1.101 Ohms/ft at room temperature or maybe the 22GA A1 AWG: 0.64mm - 1.31 Ohms/ft Resistance.

I popped the glass off by accident then broke it later on, I cannot fit the replacement glass it keeps falling off.any advice?

What coil did you use

Any brand of bottom airflow always leaks, top airflow in any brand is the best .

I like the idea of the TFV8 tank. Smok just has terrible quality control for this. Internal threads are garbage. Get shorts about every 20 pulls or so on their premade coil heads. RBA deck that came with the tank had a bad negative post connection, unusable. Second RBA deck I purchased has a bad insulator for the positive post, unusable. I'll be giving the goon style RBA-16 a try and if it has issues the whole thing will be shelved.

How would the 4 or 5 ohm clapton pre made coils you guys sell on ebay work on this tank?

Did a pretty good job one the showing. But to close, if you were doing a build that would be fine. To close

mines not bent at all octo coil that leaked out bottom seal, wire ripped the rubber seal. so i called there sending another coil, dna vape couldn't give tech help . but looks like its real hard to get that rubber seal back on.not even going to try, same thing with single large. so rba is got to be wick cant use my new g-prive. tell i do it.

I looked at a few in different shops and each rba deck was bent like that.....to me it is not very well built. The rest with the the pre made coils are good but like you I like to put my own builds in. wasn't to impressed really with the rba section especially because of the side of the deck that bends like that

Whats the max wattage on this rba?

for anyone who has a bent deck send it back asap and do not use it. I bought this instead of the herakles rta because of the option to use stock coils on the go or whatever. the fill port is still too small imo.

anyone please help me... at first time (first filling) at rba, its .3 ohm.. suddenly, another fulltank refill, its going to 1,8 ohm which is way too much... dont know whats the problem.. please... i like this tank, but somehow i do not know whats going on... pleaseeee kindly help me

my post was also bent 'and" over time it happened the whole post snapped off ....sigh not amused so i purchased the triple coil rba much much better but all the same this rta is over rated in my humble opinion

that looks like a fake my tfv8 deck looks way different also my deck came with 7 rap Clapton coils, and the post's are unbendable, to be completely honest with you that is a fake or its was machined improperly

Sloppy dude your finish is like Krussy the clown's hair , anyone experiencing leaks make sure your wicks are not touching the airholes , real attention to how packed your juice inlet wells are you either dry hit or you will flood the fire deck and leaks will follow.

I put my RBA on my X Cube II. I have a fruity menthol juice and the flavor sucks. No more menthol-ness to it. Should I just change my juice? Usually vape it at 70-100 Watts
