I made some tools to check the drums on a th400 transmission. I give the dimensions in the video for both tools. It’s made out of 2 inch round plastic and used harbor freight o ring kit
You absolutely can. This is so you can check it without having to put them together and put you seals on Center support or pump. All it is, is another tool in your arsenal
I watch mountain garage and saw all the tools you made for him can you use the same tool to rebuild a 350 trans like I said before this will be my first rebuild lol wish me luck. Oh, yea what kind of race car are you building I saw it in the other video on the lift. I like your channel I think I can learn some stuff I sub your channel thanks for making the videos
So the pump tool to pull the pump is the same. I didn’t check to see if the air check tools are the same. I’ll have to check it. I’m building a Prostreet s10. Once I get the cab done I’ll make a video. It was a rusty cab and have to do cab corners and rockers and some floor.
@@naudydave cool would love to see the video check out the tools and see what will work with the 350 build and let me know if you want to sell them we could come up with something if that sounds good to you. I would like to learn and start rebuilding 350 and 400 but I am starting out with the 350 that what I have thanks
So I did a few th350s with transbrakes and a few manual valve body’s. But for what you spend on a th350 you can have a th400. I go to the salvage yard to get my cores for like $100-150 and as long as the pump and cases are good your golden
