Easy E was their mentor. He signed them to his record company “ruthless records” he died a bit after they came out. This song was a tribute to him and everyone who passed away.
I actually edited the Days Of Our Lives video they reacted to years ago on my old youtube account. I combined the original video with clips from their other music videos, because the original video was shorter and I love the full song so much. You guys should do "Notorious Thugs" with Notorious BIG or "Home" with Phil Collins at some point.
Since both of you liked "Tha Crossroads", you won't be surprised to find out: Tha Crossroads won Bone thugs-n-harmony a Grammy, was #1 on the Billboard chart for 9 weeks, and broke the Beatles 32yr old record for fastest rising single.
Alfred Daniel 😂😂😂 Well thank you🥰 & I take it was just too much for them which is strange. Good thing they stopped there cuz my boys could get kinda dark but that was the younger them. They matured nicely. 🤷🏾♀️ Oh well...they aren’t for everyone
tanea richardson Very true. Those of us that are able to appreciate both Bone's growth and talent, are able to enjoy legendary music. Have you heard the original version of "Thug Luv" with just Bizzy, 2pac, and Sylk-E Fyne? There's also the "Extended Original Version" Thug Luv which includes the verses of the other members from the well known remake on RU-vid. Check out both if you haven't heard either.
Yea for sure Outkast and Wu Tang were unique aswell but Bone sounds so different then anything else to this day. You hear there harmonic influence in tons of rappers but none quite did what they did. To this day Krayzie Bone is the most talented rapper to touch a Mic imo.
Not really when you discover something you stumble upon it by accident they bugged ruthless untill eazy called them Eazy put them on there's a difference
Huge metalhead here, and a huge fan of Bone Thugs. If you want to hear them spit fire, you gotta listen to their song "Handle the Vibe". They're like guitarists that shred, but with rapping. And that song is total destruction.
I remember When Crossroads would play, people back then swore they knew the lyrics but if you turn the music off all you'll hear from people is "smsksj nrjdh dhdh heudud and I'm gonna miss everybody!"....lol
I had a friend who died in an accident at school in auto class. Me and him were both listening to this song a few days before his passing and when they played it at his funeral I literally couldn't stop crying. This is one track that'll always get me.
@@BigDad138 this is random but we probably won't ever run into each other on the Internet ever again so i say to you " Good luck on ur journey threw life".🙋
Noooo I’m sort of bummed out, you guys did the wrong Crossroads video. That’s not the actual official video. It was more or less just B-roll footage from the music video shoot, but it’s not the actual video itself. There’s a lot more scenes in the video. There’s a lot of scenes depicting a (presumable) grim reaper collecting the souls of people in and around their lives. It’s a very well regarded video, sometimes you see people get emotional because of it. Regarding Eazy-E, Eazy-E was the one who discovered Bone Thugs N Harmony and signed them to Ruthless Records. Eazy was like their mentor until he died. They did this song as a tribute to Eazy after he died. They talk about all their lost loved ones, but Eazy is pretty much the headliner of the song. It shows Eazy as being one of the many souls that were collected and being taken to the afterlife. That image you see at the end is at the ending of the video where they look up into the sky and see Eazy in the clouds. Very good and video. You guys need to watch the official video. I don’t know if you’d consider re-reacting to Tha Crossroads for it’s real music video, especially since you said this reaction itself was take 2. If going for take 3 is too excessive, then you should at least watch it just in your own free time or something. I’d think you’d be doing yourself a disservice not to. As for Dayz Of Our Livez, the movie you’re thinking of is Set If Off, they did that song for the soundtrack. The reason it showed clips from a couple other videos is because the official music video has some parts of the song cut out. The person who uploaded it just put clips from other videos to fill the spaces that are cut from the original video. Also, I wouldn’t look too deeply into the lyrics. As for more Bone songs, you gotta do Thuggish Ruggish Bone, it was their debut single and it’s an essential. Foe Tha Love of $ featuring Eazy-E is another. Maybe the song East 1999 as well. I personally consider these 5 songs - Thuggish Ruggish Bone, Foe Tha Love Of $, East 1999, 1st Of Tha Month, and Tha Crossroads - as like a 5 song starter pack. Those were like the 5 main singles from the time they emerged onto the scene. I would also say you don’t have to concern yourself with the lyrics too much. Songs like Crossroads have important lyrics, but for the most part, you listen to Bone for how they sound rather than what they say. A lot of their most loved songs don’t have much substance as far as topics go, it’s more about the way they sound and how the vibe feels. You guys like Metal, as do I, so you might know what I’m referring to - sometimes in Metal, people say the lyrics often come secondary, and the primary purpose is the musicianship. It’s kinda like that for Bone too, the way it sounds is what comes first. PS: Keep in mind that these 2 songs you did represent more of the “Harmony” side of Bone Thugs N Harmony. There’s also the “Bone Thugs” side to Bone Thuggish N Harmony to keep in mind. The hard, fast rapping side to them.
PotawatomiThunderNew Thank you for all of the info. I am going to watch the real video very soon. I am bummed we picked the wrong one for the video but excited for another part to see. And we will definitely listen to these other songs. If I could I'd listen to nothing but them for awhile but gotta save it for the channel. Thank you!

This song has a really deep meaning. I've heard this song played at funerals with people balling their eyes out. They also wrote this song for Eazy E after he died. Bone Thugs Forever!!!
Heavy Hitting Bone Thug Songs Below -Thug Luv -Notorious Thugs -Mo Murda -Foe The Love Of Money -Thuggish Ruggish Bone -Budda Lovaz -Resurrection Paper Paper Looking forward to your reactions.
The movie is called Set It Off and Bone did Days of our Lives for the movie. Check out Notorious Thugs with Biggie and Thug Luv with 2Pac. 2 of Bone's best.
Im a life long Bone fan and to this day there still alot of Bizzy Bone verses where I only comprehend half of what he saying. I remember looking up lyrics online in highschool and Bizzys verses would be riddled with question marks.(In the older music. Bizzy raps with way more clarity now probaly has something to do with him being sober)
Trust me I'm a huge Bone Thugs fan and have been since I heard Thuggish Ruggish Bone and there are still lyrics I can't understand because of how they deliver it lol
I love this! I am 35 years old and I have been listening to Bone since I was probably 14 so I know all of these words and I love that you guys can feel it, but don't even know the words. Yes, knowing the words DOES make it better. If you want to listen to their BEST song, look into Notorious Thugs with Biggie Smalls. That song is like...whooo. Cheers!
Being a huge Bone Thugs fan, this is a first time seeing this version of The Crossroads music video. I say watch the other music video version this the grim reaper off camera to understand the song and why Eazy E is so important to them.
Bone Cult is everywhere! We prob the most loyal fans of any hiphop group ever! Tha Crossroads changed my life .. I'm 35 and found Bone in 1996 when this song blew up over here in Australia!
I’ve never seen that Crossroads video! The normal video tells the story of the song. It was also a tribute song to Eazy E. Eazy E discovered Bone Thugs N Harmony. Foe The Love of Money features Eazy E. It’s one of Bone’s best songs and they have a ton of great songs as a group.
Bone thugs took a one way trip to LA from Cleveland to meet eazy e so they could possibly get a deal.. After they did eazy e was doing a show in Cleveland so they went back and met him and eazy signed them to his label ruthless records
You guys should check out the original crossroads. This version replaced the original after Eazy died as a tribute to him, but the original album release had a different version. Personally, I think the original is better.
Truly a pleasure to see this music still resonate with new listeners 23 years after it's initial release. These two songs are unforgettable, and I can't say a day has gone by in 23 years that I haven't listened to at least one of them! Great video, and definitely check out the lyrics and try to listen along. There truly are meaningful lyrics to both songs, and with time you'll begin to hear them!
Eazy E actually discovered bone thugs and harmony! That's their connection. Thanks for the video and keep up the great work and always keep it 💯 Fam! Take care Fam Peace Out ✌️
Tha Crossroads was the highest-debuting rap single when it debuted at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. It is Bone thugs-n-harmony's biggest selling single, reaching number one on the Hot 100, and in 1997, the song won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group
4:54-4:58 "We've been listening to a lot of rap and hip hop, and there hasn't been anything like this." I felt the same way when I heard Bone thugs-n-harmony for the first time well over 20yrs ago. They're still making amazing music and touring world wide every year.
To help you get a broader understanding of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony; 📍#LayzieBone: he is the lion of the group, the top dog the leader of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony,, his stylistic lyrics are commander in chief 📍#WishBone: he is the heart of bone Thugs-n-Harmony his stylistic lyrics are emotional Energy in motion 📍 #BizzyBone: he is the Innocent harmony of the group, his stylistic lyrics are a bit mystical in harmony 📍 #FleshNBone: he is the big brother of the group, he brings a particular wisdom, his stylistic lyrics mimics all the other four members, he sounds like all of them at once, listen to his solo song called "World So Cruel" 📍 #KrayzieBone is the musical lyrical paraphernalic scientist of the group, he's the one that creates these crazy ass choruses and bridges he was the one with DJ UNEEK that produce the Crossroads and days of our lives and its direction of sound, he would be considered the lead singer in the group
This song always got to me tear up in the 90s when I was a teen but the video is a tear jerker. Idc who you are. You can be the hardest gangsta on this planet today & it’s an emotion puller.
Huge bone fan, and i love how you guys keep it real. Remember that the reason bone thugs have so many fans its becaues they are so diffrent and one of the best group.
Also two awesome features that bone thugs were in are “Notorious Thugs” Ft biggie smalls , and “Thug Love” Ft Tupac, two icons in hip hop collaborating with bone thugs
Eazy E brought bone thugs out . I can't explain it still to this day it's I wanna say layzie bone show Eazy E tombstone in his videos. They all show respect to him.. good reaction God bless y'all and sending love and respect from the WESTSIDE 702 & 775
This song was for eazy e after he died...pls check out other songs from bone, like family tree, shoot em up, body rott, resurrection, if i could teach the world, its all mo thug or thug music plays on, there are so many bone songs you could listen to.
You should give BTNH “Days of Our Lives” a listen or “E1999” Days of Our lives is similar to this and E1999 is much harder with a great flow. 2 other BTNH songs are “Notorious Thugs” with Notorious BIG and “Thug Luv” with 2Pac.
this is totally off the video subject... however... have the need to suggest 'hip hop could never rock like this' hansomeboy modeling school ... with chester bennington n mike shinoda.....👍 ok... i got it backwards... 'rock n roll ... could never hip hop like this..' ">
Fact nugget: The original song was very different, this is the REMIX. The original song had a different beat & all different lyrics. They wrote it because a bunch of their friends & family members were dying in a short span of time. After Eazy-E discovered them & got them a record deal on his label Ruthless Records, Eazy-E discovered he had full blown AIDs & passed away very quickly. They remixed Tha Crossroads original song to dedicate it to Eazy-E's memory for their 2nd album on the label.
LOL @ 8:34 and 20:34 Wouldn't it be funny and cool at the same time if after every movie, music video, or TV show, a picture of Eazy-E would appear on the screen and you'd hear Ryan go "Look! There's Eazy!" 😂 You guys are cool. New subscriber here.
Good job guys, I will give you a tip, next time bring up the video and the lyrics together, so you can read and pause it at your will, that's the way to go.You'll really enjoy it. Seen it done even by elderly people from US and the UK who nowadays are interested in Rap.
wow that's all you guys got from that??😳 firemen? gentle?quite the opposite, but that's just my opinion, smh, welp!your reaction, your perception, but wow😒
you got a lot of requests for this song in your Eazy-E video because this was a tribute to Eazy-E is death. Eazy-E is the one that put Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on the map
Eazy-E was an artist that BTNH their start in the music industry. BTNH flew home their hometown Cleveland, OH to L.A, CA to meet and play their demo and Eazy-E like them so much that he signed them. “Para-phrasing” but, it’s the jist of it.
Yall picked two good songs but that's just one lane. Listien to Mo Murda, No Surrender , Thug Luv feat 2pac,or Thuggish ruggish bone. Something like that if you wanna hear the flipside
No disrespect to you but something actually did happen the jungle Charlie died and that's why they're in the church yeah anyways Bone Thugs-N-Harmony oh my God it's just so much sentimental with them can't even words just elude me I don't even know what to say but you guys are trying and that's what matters hope you up girlfriend wife friend gets better cuz being sick sucks
