He really is one of the most consistent underground artists out there and the dude seemingly comes out with a new album every month! Never has stale verses and is always trying to inspire.
your mini rap documentaries are really well crafted. I appreciate your attention to wordplay and historical context. bigs up to your future on the platform
me being a proper hip hop head I've never heard of this guy before but hearing him now he sounds like Cormega who use to be one of my favourite underground rappers
Love this dude! His catalog is unmatched with very few misses. I feel his production skills outweigh his mic skills but he still kills it bc he’s such a creative dude! Definitely underrated and I hope he stays that way!
"Sunday Morning Paper" released this year maybe one of his best ever tracks. Big Nujabes feel. Been a fan of Fahim since late 2017/early 18 but I think the last 2years have been his best & most consistent. He's gone from an average busy rapper too an extremely confident, consistent & top tier artist imo 🔥🔥💯💯💪💪
thank you for spreading the gospel🙏it would b sick if you could do some digging on august, feel like his influence on mach fahim etc is super underrated, as hes so lowkey. and big shoutout to craven, got my favorite fahim projects personally
Thank you for putting this together. First project I ever came across Fahim and Mach was Pray for Haiti. Since then I have listened to a few projects from them both, I fucking love it. Really bothers me that the records (the majority of them) are very expensive and hard to get. Favorite project is probably Dreams of Medina 2.
He's one of my favorite Rappers rn, I got hip to him around 2018. Soul Dust and Wolf on Wall Street 1 are my go-to albums, but I still think he's only getting better. His music is really good for mornings, it sets a good spiritual pace for the day Great video!
I share the name Fahim with this legend. And coincidentally, he singlehandedly revived my hope for hip hop. Through him, I found Mach Hommy and al.divino and Estee Nack, Jay Nice etc etc etc. As my music taste reverted back to hip hop I happened to discover Tha God Fahim, and now I listen to so much more hip hop than just MF DOOM and a couple others lol ayo I'm rambling but basically what I'm saying is I got mad respect for Tha God Fahim.
Tha Ineffable Conflict joint is prolly one of my favorites it's back to back classics and Dump Goat..im lookin forward to that Dump Goat 2 dropping soon
Tha God Fahim is the definition of grinding. I’ve listening to a few albums and they’re pure heat 🔥 and there’s still a lot more left. This man’s catalog is insane. He has a great knack for beats too.
This was dope, top Fahim joints are very often with Camoflauge Monk production and the Dump Assassins album with DJ Muggs among my best…..Big Up Fahim! 👑🏆🥇💥🔥💥🔥 #ChampionRap #Up&Up
I just finally heard a song with him. It was on an album by All Hail YT.. now that’s a guy you need to keep an eye on, too. The song they did, Whole and Term life insurance, is great
Thank you very much for this video, man. Tha God Fahim, how can someone be in his thirtys and be an absolut legend this far? What I love about him is his realness, he practices what he preaches, work ethic, samurai discipline, lovely but on war. At first I couldnt hear him, I followed MachHommy and tought to myself? Why does this legend side up with this Fahim that has this akward and relentless flow? But now, man, I cant decide who I love more, if MAch or Fahim. For me, tha album that got me into him was Lost Kings, such an epic album, love it from start to bottom, so much knowledge beaning dumped. Also his must hear is The myth that never quits with Craven, a monster album. MAch-Hommys Duck SZN with Fahim also can add to meet in good terms with Fahim. Its funny that it has so many albums that we can live our entire life trying to compreend and listen to his whole catalogue and he is just geting started haha. Cheers and thanks for producing al this videos of uderground rap, its hard to find information about this living legends. A Roc Marciano video would be great,
The God Fahim & Curren$y are the most Consistent rappers in Hip Hop for sure. Wide Birth was the first Fahim album I've heard too and same here after hearing that made me dig for some more of his Art. Biggz Was Here. Peace.
I place Fahim in the same light as the Wu. I was listening to *The Tragedy of Shogunn* back in 2017and I instantly thought of Akira Kurosawa's *Yojimbo & RAN* His music definitely gives off a gloomy tragic warlord vibe. It's a signature sound. Like how you can differentiate directors from their cinematography. You know what to expect from the DumpGOD.
great video bro! thanks so much for this. I agree with everything that you discussed here. I was so hoping you were going to talk about the dump assassins project with dj muggs! but it’s all good! Great work
Great video. Would love to see some album links (if applicable) in the description because I definitely want to check out the albums you mention but it's hard to do without listening a few times
Was just putting my mans on to TGF every time I looked up Fahim and Mach had new music....these videos are very informative cus I thaut Fahim was from Jersey too ....he definitely 1 of pioneers of the new underground sound .,...the most consistent for a while..... Griselda days tho🔥💯💯🥵
Fahim might be a acquired taste to a lot of people but if you look deep into his massive catalogue, you will found those albums that stands out like “Iron Monkey”, “Tha Ineffable Conflict Of Roosevelt Creek”, Tha Tragedy Of Shogun”, “T.G.I.F.”, “Those Who Slay Dragons”, “Dollars N Sense”, “Blvk Pearl 2”, “Soul Dust”, etc. He has a lot of gems for sure, what made me listen to Fah is his subject matter where he would talk about the struggles of what the black youth goes through in life, the corruption in our world, etc. I just like his approach on different topics. I also like when he gets in his aggressive braggadocious bag. The only criticism about Fah is the newer projects he been dropping, they kinda sound lacking lately. Hopefully, he’ll be back in his original self like how he was in 2016-2019. But overall he’s one of the underrated artists in this scene, can’t wait for him to progress more💯.
