You’re lucky. I paid for the same flight on the Air Asia web site and the payment was rejected. I then went onto the Expedia web site and paid for the same flights. The following morning, my bank account showed 2 lots of payments. Air Asia will not refund me.
One slight problem - with AirAsia you often *don’t* get what you pay for. And good luck ever getting your money back… I am one of many who have been chasing them for 2+ years now for refunds that are supposedly “in the payment process” and treated as a “priority” 😂
I fly Thai AirAsia a lot - SG - DMK, basically a return flight every two months. Yes, their hard product is basic (especially the legroom) but they have always delivered and I cannot complain about delays etc. that plague other LCCs. During CoVid they took their time to process refunds, but I have seen them consistently deliver. They are my preferred carrier in SEA.
We've all seen some bizarre rules/procedures re Covid but that nonsense with your 'inflight' meal being parked in the overhead locker until after arrival just trumps the lot. 😂
I've only flown AirAsia Malaysia (two sectors). Your "you get what you pay for" applies. Does Thai AIrAsia also offer the Pak Nasser Nasi Lemak - it's better than it deserves to be for the price.
Hi Dominik, very informative and interesting video! Do you fly with AirAsia a lot? I’ve read so many horror stories about them, it makes me hesitant to book with them.
