Nam Tok means “Waterfall” in Thai Language. The name is came from the juice/blood dropping and falling from beef while it’s grilling. What a clever name! Love it! Written recipe right here: seonkyounglongest.com/nam-tok It's amazing by itself (if you're on a low carb diet! lol!), but even more delicious with some sticky rice!(ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HEagKW40qbM.html) Hope you give this delicious Nam Tok a try at home!!
I always love your videos, but the videos over the last couple months have been awesomely edited. It's like you somehow made perfection even better! ❤️ Thank you for making such delicious food and sharing it with us!
I'm half Thai, and the nam tok neua is my favourite salad of all time. I can't stand a Thai restaurant that doesn't have it on the menu. I love how authentic your recipe is to the Isaan version.
It’s the best dish. I always have extra New York strip steak in my freezer so whenever I’m craving “namtok” I make it. It’s so easy to make, and it tasted so good. I used to order this from a Thai restaurant and would pay 25$ for just a appetizer namtok but now no more paying 25$ because I can make it on my own thanks to you
I made this for dinner tonight it was absolutely yummy yummy. I love Thai chili 🌶 peppers so I sliced a few for the extra kick. Hubby enjoyed it, thank you for the recipe.
Thai people actually toast the rice until they’re light brown and some add kaffir lime leaves.. but I’m still going to try this, I haven’t tried a nam tok that disappointed me. I love your videos and you’re so adorable 😍
I made this four times in the past two weeks already and it’s my boyfriend’s (who’s a chef) favorite dish I cook and he wants me to cook it ever week lol. I have tried many thai recipes but never turned out as good as this. It’s an easy and perfect recipe to follow! I love your recipes! Also another recipe of hers I love is the lemongrass chicken!!! So good!!
OMG this is actually my favourite video from you because your personality shines through so much here! You're so adorable and funny, and this looks absolutely amazing, so I will give it a try!
can you show us some fusion cuisine with Korean x other countries?😀😀😀 I think it'd be super interesting! for example Kimchi okonomiyaki or bulgogi spagetti etc 😉😉😉
So delicious!!! I just made it, and it was perfection! Steak on 4 minutes per side on a cast iron, it was so yum with the char! I followed your instructions to a T, but I didn't have thai.pepper flakes, so I used korean gochuchang pepper powder....so good!!! That balance between sweet, sour, spicy, beef, and fresh greens...so healthy and tasty!Thank you!
I was trying to replicate a salad that I was eating in a Thai in restaurant that is closed now. This seems to be very close!! Thanks for all your great videos and your passion about food!!!
So this is actually called waterfall beef from northern Thailand which you made well but you should toast the rice until its dark golden and also add a lime leaf to grind. Take my advice. I still give you thumbs up!
What area of Thailand uses toasted sticky rice powder? Seems like only a couple recipes on RU-vid uses the powder. There are so many different recipes makes my head spin. I lived with Thai people for 3 years & beef salad was always made with rare steak, rice powder, herbs, veggie & with sticky rice on the side.
It's fantastic. With this recipe I can make it better than my local Thai restaurants. Do you have a link to the other beef salad you referred to in this video???
This is my first time watching your video and I definitely subscribed and turned on notifications I love Thai food and learning how to make it since my dad was adopted from Thailand
I always request at thai restaurants to remove cilantro. There's always so much of it and I'm one of those people who tastes soap when I bite into cilantro. 😭
Laab Namtok Is The Best. I'm Glad You Like Thai Food :) Since You Live In The Sacramento Area You Should Try Mo Du Rang & Do A Video!! That's The Best Korean Place In Sacramento! Plus You Should Do A Review On Their Spicy Raw Crab :) Hope To Bump Into You In Sacramento!
I have no idea if I asked this already, but I'm in another one of those buldak ramen moods. I was wondering if you could recreate the sauce for it (those noodles every one does challenges with). I usually buy it online, but it's a bit expensive that way.. I think it was even expensive in the Korean town shops as well. It'd be nice to be able to make it in bulk.
What toothpaste do you use? lol why does it seem like your teeth is so white. Thats so cute of you and your husband(i think) lol he even offers to cut your food for you so you can use your chopsticks AWH :)
Because Of your awesome cooking videos, I am so excited to cook for my family when I get home from college. Thank you so much for all these. I love watching them all and learn from you. You are beautiful and sweet and funny and awesome!
This looks delicious!!😋😋 The music was nice too! *Question-Do you know what kind/kinds of fish is/are used to make fish sauce? If so could you list it/them? Please and thank you.
