This was NOT the video I intended to make! I'm a big fan of train travel in Thailand, so I decided to make a video showing how you can travel to/from Surat Thani Station to Bangkok. I was going to be in a first class sleeper cabin, on an overnight train.
It should have been great! Surat Thani is a convenient stepping off point for destinations such as Phuket, Koh Tao, Koh Samui and Koh Phangan.
I booked a month in advance and spent 3,000 Thai Baht getting a taxi from Phuket. I was really looking forward to the trip!
