I'm happy to see you in Chiang Mai. I lived there for 3 months in 2017 and absolutely fell in love with the Doi Suthep, the night markets, food and other lovely people. I rented at Play Condo and it cost $300 per month with a rooftop pool and gym. 😆

I pay 900 in Raleigh, North Carolina for a one bedroom. This is really cheap for the area. It’s usually about 1200 here. Electricity depends on the season and can be from $60 to 180. Water is about 30 and Internet is like 80. Man I love these prices!! Thanks for inspiring me!! I’m trying to find a way to work from home so I can travel the world too

I went to Thailand for two weeks. I stayed in Bangkok for one week and Phuket the other week. We stayed at the Marriott hotel in Bangkok and Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort. Someone treated me to this trip. Anywho, I love love love Thailand. I wanna go back and stay a month alone. Therefore, I appreciate you for showing other parts of Thailand like Chiang Mai. I love the country and now that I work online doing psychotherapy. I want to travel even more. And I’m so proud of you young lady for making a decision to enjoy your life and see the world.

Hi Energi, I recently came across your channel and was following you from Phuket. Great to see you have reached Chang Mai. I have been in Thailand for nearly 3 and a half years now and have not reached Chang Mai yet. Just an advice, be careful of thus curtain right next to your hot plate. I use one in my condo and it gets very hot and can easily get the nearby curtain to catch fire🙏🏾🙏🏾

Yep, true. Got burned. My curtain caught fire from the wind blowing. Polyester Burns 🥵🥵🥵🥵 a painful lesson.

Not bad at all, they just need to take all the wallpaper off the walls and paint, there's no need for wallpaper then fix the showerhead, and we’re all good. The place is really pretty just need a little adjustments, the pool is gorgeous.🤗😁😀

Definitely livable for that price. The way I would have tied that shower head up with another shoe lace and go about my business 😂. I love the amenities this building has. When you said “who’s texting us” I lost it 😂😂😂

Yes. I am so glad you found the more reasonably priced apt. They have others also with far out amenities. Next to a beach. See if they have a topper for your bed.

I've lived here in Thailand, I lived in Chiang Mai for 2 years and I think you got a good deal. I chose the apartments next door to Central Mall, but they are not as nice as what you currently have. *I think you got a good deal* 🙂🙏

We are paying $700 but are in Bangkok but its a 2 bedroom. Think the 1 bedrooms are going for about 17,000-21,000 Baht. I love Chiang Mai. Great pricing during the pandemic. The beds in the condos depends on the owner. When I get into a new condo I buy a new top to the sprayers for the bathroom. Love your videos

Always try and get a corner condo, you will have less neighbours and hopefully more windows, also just walk around the area you want to stay and many condos will have some sort of reception where you can checkout the actual unit!

For 275 it’s nice for a short stay whenever off season is for the area. I live in a place I can hear my neighbors phone vibrate and their smoke comes through the walls I HATE IT! Oh and I’d need a tub! The pool is everything though

Document and have someone come up and make a note of all the problems with the apartment especially the shower head. You can get a small plastic bag with some vinegar and baking soda put the boday's head in there or just plain vingegar and soap detergent to get rid of the residue. I know i spelled that wrong. No, apartment is perfect just protect yourself. You lucked out with that apartment. I pay $900 in brooklyn new york.

Not bad for a smaller 1 apt. Under $3oo . You can always find a soft egg crate mattress to place on top bed.

Where do you find these great deals? My first 4th floor apartment in China cost £280 which was affordable with 2 bedrooms. In China living on the 4th floor is considered bad luck as both the words 4 and death are quite similar in Mandarin. I took it, cos that meant nothing to me.

For the price no complaint. The sliding doors are to save energy. For example, during the night you don't have to cool the whole place. What about internet speed? Everywhere I went in Thailand it was way faster than what you get in Latin America.

Wow this is great! I live in the Inland Empire in Southern California and the average rent here for a 2 bed apartment or house is about 1700 to 1800 USD.

I lived in the Nimmana, in 2016 when new and it was over 1k then, so this is a good deal despite the issues. Paper thin walls, yea that’s normal too.

I live in China and my rent and utilities are free. But if I had to say how much my workplace pays (since they pay the rent and utilities). rent $315usd, water $2.50usd, electricity (every 2 months) $100usd, it’s way less in summertime.

Your studio is fine for exploring Chiang Mai 275.00 is a nice economic price , I pay 2'635 per month in California when I'm home in Minnesota I pay 1'350.00 per month I only go home in summer seasons. If I come to Thailand I would pay 1000.00 to 1'250.00 per month I love comfort & maids / room service ect... If I was you ENERGI I would ask the Apt Bldg Manager to let you install a nice soft mattress atop the full bed mattress in your suite .
