I was at U-Tapao for a few weeks in '72. My buds and I used to rent a boat at the base beach and go snorkeling out at the islands offshore. Beautiful clear water with lots of marine life.
Minor point/ suggestion.. instead of using the projector noise, maybe light music would be more pleasing. I enjoy your videos but always have to mute. 😊
I love all your home movies/videos....you can tell everyone is so kind (Jean, Larry, Sharon, and Jenny) and intelligent...loving family. You are so blessed. I use to have so many old family movies but they were destroyed in 1994 in a fire, which was next door to a recruiting station, I guess somebody didn't like the military 😢
Most enjoyable! Still struggling to orientate / guess some of the venue locations especially the chow house on the beach that looks like it could be Bali High area now. Thanks for sharing these moments with us.
Fuller answer a bit later. Pool shots were at the Nipa Lodge and beach shots mostly across from Nipa Lodge and down near the intersection of the main road from U-Tapao Thai Royal Naval Air Base and the main road running along the beach. Also shots at a small off-shore island.
