I live in Thailand and I can say that Indo Traveller is correct on very count. Anyone living in Thailand can smell a scam from a mile away, but many tourists have very bad experiences. Having travelled all over India multiple times, I must say India is better in that respect.

I have been to Thailand 6-7 times. Luckily i was never duped by anyone. i have rented motorbikes, stayed in many hotels, been to many shows, bars... never had an issue. lucky me...
Very scary. The 3rd narrative is quite common in many countries usually in night clubs and discotheques. I don't frequent those places but once when I did, I was saved from that scam because of a friend who knew it happens.
I have been to Thailand many times... and never faced such situations. Maybe I booked hotels as per reviews and research. Thanks very much for the information. We all will be alert hereafter.
In Goa, wine shop person told that 2 bottles you can carry to your state but police stopped at checkpost and charged fine from us. Wine 🍷 bottle they have not charged, whiskey,rum,brandy etc., Charged fine.
@@gajuwakabrahmanandam1706 dis happnd with me n my frn...i m frm rajasthan,we purchased 3 bottles frm colva,south goa...wine shopkeeper told dat there is no problm to carry bottles specially when u go to rajasthan....and we trust him...nxt day when we reached railway station,margao...police men stopped us..checked our luggage...ask about permit of bottles..which we dnt hv...he said u hv to pay fine of 1000 rs..my frn told me..give him 500 rs as a bribe..and then after we leave....so prblm hppns if we dnt hv permit..but if u travel by road..then permit doesnt matter...u r not allowd to carry even qwater bottle.
I visited Thailand back in 2013, Its beautiful and all but the locals ruin it. They want "White" tourists more than Indian crowd going there. Some of them were very rude and misbehaving to elderly people and people of our parents age and naive people. Scams are everywhere in every corner specially if you're an Indian. IDK about now but i noticed a lot of Racism, Scams and other weird shit. (No one is being explicit but you get the vibe). That being said, It wasn't ALL bad. There were good friendly locals too, Beautiful nice places etc.

No problem at all, just avoid jet ski and lady drink, hotel baywalk beach road pattaya, no scam I stayed 9 Times no problem, and in Bangkok hotel grand president walking distance from nana plaza 👍

Same stuff goes on in GOA. Specifically in Baga beach area! Avoid getting duped if you going there. But normally the place is pretty awesome and people are nice!

Name the hotel bro... lets expose them as much as possible to teach them a lesson. If possible provide names of the manager , staff and also the agency through which you booked your stay...
People scam foreigners here in India as well. Its is a simple funda that all individuals should be aware and alert whenever they travel to a new destination
Yes you said & explained 100% true , I was faced lady drinker scam at walking soi street in 2016 and also I was checked the hotel room scam too, thank you so much for avoiding visitors to those sacams
Video is helpful for new travelers but I ask why travel abroad with so many difficulties, why can't we travel in our own country. There is so many places which we can't cover in a lifetime here!! Anyways, good work you brought such scams out, great work. :-)
No offence brother but that’s why you all need a travel agent for your travel needs. I appreciate your effort to make people aware of such malpractices in Thailand. Me being a TA have sent hundreds of tourists to Thailand (since Thailand being the closest and cheapest destination to travel from where i belong) and never have i ever heard a single complaint about such scams. Reason being : 1. Due to regular business we have good relations with the good hotels so they never harrass the guests until and unless they’ve done some serious and visible damage 2. We have local suppliers who manage all the activities and sightseeings so that no one else tries to cheat or scam the guests 3. Everyone is not aware of the shenanigans which happen in Walking street and nearby places so we do advise our guests accordingly in advance. People might save couple of thousand of bucks by booking directly (which they actually don’t) and then end up paying considerably higher amount in such scams. Next time please consult a travel expert and make your holiday hassle free since you are there to enjoy and not to be constantly worried about any potential scams that might happen. Cheers 😄.
Bhai tumne galat insaan ko Bata diya ..... These vloggers in recent days have been thinking themselves as the flag bearer of tourism industry and they just Cry about their experiences all time ..... I don't even remember how many tourists i have sent there and have faced such things in anywhere part of the world.... Camera pakad lete hai haath main and they make sure ki aisi jagah jaye Jahan se views mile because normal Thailand vlog to bhai koi dekhta hai nhi , so these are just nothing but gimmick to earn views and nothing else. ..
So according to you everyone should travel through such agents otherwise this type of scams will happen and you support it?.. So that your business will flourish.....I think you agents are more bigger scammer....in any place if any one can't travel safely, we should avoid this places and people like scammer agents just like you.....
I have also cheated by their security...they took my passport and damaged it .After then asked money from me also paid 40 k for flight tickets including penalty to return India through thai air asia
One of my friend bargained a ride for 200 from asked 300. The jet ski guy took him into the sea a little more than the said distance and then reverse bargained for 400, if not paid he will drop him in the sea.... So my friend had to agree and made a payment of 400 in the sea, only to return back to the shore.
It's all the same everywhere, mainly within the asia subcontinent. I have been to Thailand several times but I didin't let myself fall into such traps and of course I was not alone and these scams are all new to me. Thanks for the early warning bro. You took the heat to make others safe, appreciated.

great video once again!! me too want to share my bad experience in singapore and dubai.in singapore,in little india area i was in hostel for 5-6 days.one day after i came back from sightseeing,i found my locker's lock was open but no money was stolen.i always cross check lock 2 times so not mistake from my side.next case in dubai i was in deira roundabout area and one indian guy came to me and told me that he will show me cheap hotel in next building.i went in that building where he and his friend hold me and stole my wallet.i lost 5000 rupees.i was shocked but as i came out of that building,one man standing outside saloon in same building asked me "kya hua tum ko jaane to diya na....".i left dubai next morning without complaining.next time i will be cautious.about thailand i found that my hotel manager in khaosan area was very rude with me and they did not treated me well.better not to visit such countries.
Ur mistake u didnt do complaint in dubai , bcz u got scared, thats the problm with indians, agar apki jagah koi dusri nationality hoti to wo complaint karti and half hour me chorr pakkre jaate, kyu ke tourist ki bhut jyada help ki jaati hai dubai me
Dude I have been to Thailand several times These kind of stuffs might happen only in 1 or 2 star hotels and hostels and not in any of the 3 , 4 or 5 star hotels

Brother, I've travelled Thailand few times and been at the recieving end of such scams.. perhaps what u r missing is COPS!.I wish u had tried their help, trust me cops in Thailand r amazing and always pro tourists.most of the times u can threaten scamsters just saying u will goto cops and they will just walk away..if scam already happened then approach the nearby cop(they r everywhere, u don't need to go police station unlike India!) and help will be on your way 100%. Also this applies for most of foreign countries.. u will be scammed everywhere in Europe, but cops r always helpful and they always walk extra miles in a way that by giving lift, small money, allowing u to sleep at police'station incase of emergency etc..

Many Indians faced same issue.. They blame Indians that our people stolen their products which is not true..👍 There staffs did it & blame people if indians won't give them Money 👍
