Vlog#921 Episode #7 Rain or Shine, rainy season (low season) is still our favorite time to travel in the LOS. Reasons: relaxed prices, less crowds, locals more at ease. Normal rain is 20% of the day. High season always starts Nov. 1 in Koh Chang. Prices will double. It is a family tourist place for Thai's and Foreigners, so kids come out screaming in high season too......

I like low season in Thailand, more than even high season! Traveling is easier, less Farang around and and hotels/resorts are more reasonably priced. I like the Thai people, for the most part they are happy most of the time, just like Paige (except she is always happy)!

So far this Koh Chang adventure reminds me of a song by BJ Thomas - "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head".... LOL Once again a great, funny video. You two really makes the best of every situation. It doesn't matter if it's bad weather, Covid 19 or anything else. Always positive, no matter what (at least Paige). I miss Thailand and my little family there, but hope to be back soon again...

Once again, another amazing production! These are indeed unusual times brought forth by the Pandemic. Specifically, the island feels so quiet by the lack of foreign tourists further compounded by the Tropical Storm Noul. I want the Thai people who work in the hospitality business to hang in there and to be well! Once there’s a vaccine and this damned nightmare is over, (I hate to say it but I fear as long as 2022), my family and I are excited to return to Thailand for our grandest trip there yet. We’re looking forward to contributing to the Thai economy.

Yep, I live in Northern NSW in Aus and it is pretty rainforesty here, One of the water holes people tend to go to in summer can have 100's or thousands of cicadas in the rain forest sometimes. now that is noisy :-)

Great to see you making the most of the ordinary weather :) Next time your in Phuket go to a place called The Green Tamarind and get the bacon cheese burger it has loads of crispy bacon. In my opinion one of the best burgers ive ever had. My son had the bacon cheese burger I had the aussie burger(im from there) and my wife had the swiss cheese burger all absolutely delicious. Big burgers dont make the mistake of getting fries burgers are huge. Get the onion rings they are delicious

Greetings from Belgium ! Nowadays I have to take care of my 80+ (age) parents, so I cannot return for now, but your videos make my day.. One day I hope to travel to Thailand by train via Russia and China.. Dave DAVE dave. Yes is has been asked MANY times and i have responded on camera and in the comments COUNTLESS times before. If I put a mic on Paige first of she wont Talk, second she is not such a sweetheart. Most Asians are very conservative, and no sympathetic. I have a very sensitive audience. Not there fault but that is how there game is being played now. In REAL life Dave I can't hear her either. If you meet her you wont either. Unless you speak Thai. If you ask her a question you might not like her answer. She is who she is and says what she thinks, when she wants to. I am at the point where this topic is more annoying to me than people not hearing Paige. Thanks Dave, and really thank you for the comment ;)

Regarding the VAT you need to show your passport at the time and there is a minimum amount that is eligible. "Goods must be purchased from stores displaying the 'VAT Refund For Tourists' sign. VAT refunds only apply to goods taken out of Thailand within 60 days from the date of purchase. Goods must have a value of at least 5,000 baht (including VAT), and single purchases must have a value of at least 2,000 baht per day."

They are new. The place I take my SUV to puts some wax stuff on my windows. But hey maybe 3m blades are made cheaper here. Rain hits window, blade removes rain. Noise optional........;)

Chuck and Paige now when Paige does not want to drive the car I have another challenge for you swap round the phone and camera so Paige uses the camera and explain to us if the day consists of a whole day swap and you have to use the camera in the phone for your Fb pictures Laughing, you are part of that challenge
