Philippines is more adventures with beaches everywhere and each 7641 islands has waterfalls, mountains, caves and volcanoes with hotspring rivers.. that's why philippinea is very beautiful

A foreigner's question always starts with the budget, cost and housing. The weather, food and culture are secondary. We know foreigners and expats are on a tight budget that's why they're looking for that one last chance at a good life somewhere. Thailand and the Philippines city life and province life are similar so I think there really is no sense comparing the two countries on this issue. I think it's all about the budget. If a foreigner finds it cheaper to live in Thailand, then that's where he should go. If the foreigner thinks the Philippines feels like it is home, then choose the Philippines. End of discussion.

I think anywhere you go and chose to live asa long as you are happy that’s ok .

The more this year goes on, the more Philippines is looking to be the better choice, although last year I would have said it was the other way around, as I actually like Thailand better as a destination, although not by very much, so maybe live in Philippines, and holiday in Thailand, instead of the reverse, which was my plan last year.

Thailand has 3 big advantages over the Philippines: Hotel prices are much better, infrastructure is much better (airports, roads, internet), there isn't the same level of animal cruelty (Filipinos abuse their pets and engage in cockfighting all over the place). Philippines airports are the first things we encounter and they are an immediate look into how bad infrastructure is. At small airports, the air conditioning may not work. Many have no taxis or Grab or Bolt, so you're left to the mercy of over-priced vans or terrible tricycles. Manila airport has no train service or proper bus service and flaky WiFi. (Bangkok's two airports both have train services and buses and working WiFi.) The only exception is Cebu, which has the only decent airport in the Philippines.

Some famous RU-vidrs claim rent prices are higher in the Philippines bc too many foreigners. But if your numbers are right then rent should be higher in Thailand. What is your source on the number of foreigners?

I've lived a decade in both Thailand and then the Philippines. I speak almost fluent Thai. I love Thailand but will stay in the Philippines. Just my view. I agree with all that you say and it's refreshing to watch your videos thank you 😊

You can live in both countries, but the Philippines has the disadvantage of being difficult to travel because it is an island country. There are dozens of storms every year. Sometimes there may be earthquakes. Volcanic eruption and tsunami as well And in the south there are still thieves who demand ransom from foreign tourists. including poverty problems Food that is not diverse and the quality of accommodation is not quite suitable for the price. Travel that is less convenient and takes a lot of time and traveling multiple times including more expensive fares. If you accept all of these conditions. You can happily stay in the Philippines.

Neither one. Expats should only go and spend their money in a country that recognizes them with RECIPROCAL civil and property rights, with a fairly quick and easy permanent residency. Such as Paraguay and several other countries in Latin America. BUY your home there, start your family (or bring it), and really retire in peace with stability. You will never have stability in Thailand, especially, or anywhere in Asia. I tried to live in Thailand for 8 years and will never go back. Spoke fluent Thai.
