I’m Thai, and from a very young age my mom would teach my sister and me that life is filled with uncertainty, and that each day we step out of the house to go to school or to the market might be our last, so that we should cherish every moment we have together, and not spend that time with useless misunderstanding and anger, because in the end when she dies, and she will, all we will have is each other and the memories we create have our family, and there is nothing more precious. I’ll be 36 soon, and watching this commercial and your reaction reminded me of how my mom will hold me and my sister in her arms while she told us of family, love, lost, and life.

We all cried like a baby hahaha.. .. life is short indeed. Spend more time with our love ones.

A hard part of having kids, is that moment when you realize that they are having a problem, that you just can't fix. All you can do is...be there, for them, while they deal with whatever it is. The hardest part is when you look back and realize that there are things you *could* have done something about...and failed. We have a saying in our family, which goes "Always say 'I love you' when you leave for the day - because you never know if it might be the last time." And even knowing this, and even trying to be intentional about it - I have *still* f'd things up as a dad. Watching people have regrets about their parents, or their kids, is hard - but oh man, it is *so* much harder after you've been a parent, and you realize how easily "that could be *me* right there". I'm'a go dry my eyes, and give my (mostly-adult) kids a hug, and then maybe a (big) glass of wine. Thanks for sharing, ladies.

This is very sad story. I am one of those people whose mother died when I was 10 years old, and then 4 years ago my father died again with cancer. Due to some personal problems, I was unable to go to my father's funeral. The last time before my dad died ,we said goodbye to each other, but I didn't have the courage to tell him how much I loved him. I was born and never hugged my father even once. Today I am separated from my wife. I'm 47 years old. I have a son. He is 12 years old. This video reminds me to cherish the best, most beautiful thing in life: my relationship with my son. In a few days my son will have school holidays and we will travel together and play music together because we both love music. Thank you for this video.❤❤
