I hate it when our Indian coaches force us to play like robots, play freely man, as the great Vivian Richards rightly said, " cricket is a simple game, see the ball, hit the ball "
You wouldn't sustain (if you're taking the sport seriously) for longer period,if you just go out to the middle and start swinging the bat!! You need to have to proper and sound technique with a 'Free' Mindest!
@@varshitht9336 bhai you are right yeh pagal hai ghadda cricket mein Sachin ko aise hi father nhi bolte it is also a game of technique aur agar nhi pta kuch bhi toh chup chap bhet
I hold the bat like this guy and I have no problem in playing in the leg side aur playing swinging delivery. I took coaching during my childhood and my coach tried to improve my technique but I started getting out early. The technique that this boy has was my natural technique as well. So I used this technique and played till Under 19 state level cricket purely because I used to score good amt of runs. Scoring runs and your mindset is the only thing that matters in the end. I remember I too used to get told that I can't play on leg side, but I was always confident that I can. I practised and found my own way playing on the leg side. Nothing is impossible or restrictive in cricket or your life. You have to find your own way to success, i.e, scoring runs. If you have good technique and not scoring runs nobody gonna select you. But if your technique is average and you are scoring runs consistently, you will gonna get selected for playing further. All the best!
@@chocosquirrel3319 yeah.... But But if your bat come in 3rd slip or Point (like Virat kohli) then you generated more power in your shot.... And believe me this Backlift is Awesome.
@@abhayviratsharma no his stance is not open and back lift is comming from keeper. This is a recipe for disaster. Incoming delevarirs vl be very very difficult to handle and u tend to go across n head falls over wic vl b a candidate for lbw. This is not good technique at all. I'm talking abt longer format. For t20 or 50 overs yeah it OK
Leaving the ball without playing like the first ball this person played in the video is not a good idea in modern cricket. Most fast bowlers have incredible swings these days and batsmen can find it extremely difficult to judge where the ball might go once it pitches.
@@sivajiankipalli4888 flick is no way related to opening the face of the bat. It is closing the face with wrists. And drives until you get set it is very dangerous to open face of the bat. Ex Dravid had a straight bat and Jusr reacted to the ball and u vl find gaps some times you don't but trying to find gaps is very risky
The batsman's grip of holding the bat is wrong. See properly. If an outswing ball swings through the off stump, it will take an edge. I am a simple cricketer and I know it
