The thing with most of AR Rahman songs is that it's not instantly likeable on the first listen. The magic really unfolds after a few rounds of listening and then you're astounded at the genius of the composition. AR Rahman has himself mentioned about this phenomenon in his interviews. He attributes this to the new and different sound patterns and arrangements that he experiments with a and the brain needing some time to process this new sound. His songs are commonly known as slow poisons due to this. Having a good headphone really helps to discover the many sonic layerings that he embeds in his music. Even now, after years and years of listening to his songs, I still discover hidden sounds in his music which I hadn't noticed before. I must say that you guys are missing out on a lot of the sonic experience from AR Rahman songs as the visuals are mostly distracting and don't do justice to the music. The sound system play a huge role. It's best to react with a good headset on. And the one time watch and react format of the reaction channels is not suited for music especially AR Rahman due to the sheer complexity of his arrangements. It really needs multiple listening to get the full AR Rahman experience.
True. When I first listened this song, I didn't like it much. But then after few times it became one of my favourite ARR Sir song. He is true magician.

Well if you were underwhelmed, that's perhaps the ARR phenomenon at play- at first you're like UM OK, second time you listen you're like HMM, INTERESTING. Then Third time, you're HOOKED. Fourth time you're ADDICTED, and you start jamming the replay button. This happens because of novelty, novelty all the time. ARR creates new genres and styles, and our ears need to get used to the novelty. Hehe... try listening to it three more times, and do a SECOND REACTION to the same song... a couple days later... see what happens. I’m curious. I really loved the creative idea of the song starting during an accident.. it was such a fresh idea of gautham.. I wish they stunt people or whoever.. worked better to make it seem realistic
Ths song is about he loves the girl who don't have any idea about tht, he thinks tht he have to convey his love for her but at tht moment accident happens which is a plan to kill tht girl, he thinks that he gonna die obviously he don't likes tht, he thinks she should not move away from him, he wants to live with her.
