The football comedy routine brought me here and its funny because I haven't watched the routine in 30+ years. I hope you're doing better Bob and I'll pray for you. After watching the football routine I've noticed that you had a big influence on many comedians, they all took a little part of your talent to make their stand up better and we're all better for it.
As a teenager I found you through your work on HBO, and your timing and overall storytelling humor left a great impression on me developing my own sense of humor. Wanted to lead with that so despite that I found this a year later you posting it, it hopefully still rings with some positivity despite the graveness of your problems. Good hunting and God speed~

I hope you are doing alright now and feeling much better and happier. I know what it’s like having Cancer as I myself have had a Brain Tumor which was Cancer back in 1990 when I was 10 years old. Today I’m feeling pretty good, other then the side effects from Radiation up and down my spine which caused Barrett’s esophagus around 10 years ago. But that didn’t happen until I was in my 30’s and now I’m 43. I remember watching you on tv back in the 80’s and laughing at all your jokes and scenes. You are truly one a kind and that is why God has kept you alive today. God Bless you and I hope everything works out for the best!
