Ik right! Like they think the point of the game is just to dash to the end but the stupid "unfair" game keeps putting "game shit" in the way of their progress.
Dark souls players call the games badly designed when they are punished for running past everything to the next fog wall. Dark souls 2 was the most punishing, and so it gets the most hate. This is the root of every "gank squad" "enemy spam" complaint. It's not that there are too many enemies, it's that they're punished for trying to skip past them

The problem with these Elden Ring clips is that nearly all of them seem to be doing some kind of HP challenge run, so everything will kill them super fast regardless of what's happening.
More than half of these weren’t even “Thank you, Dark Souls”-Moments, they were “I did stupid shit but blame the game for it”-Moments. Like seriously, running past enemies into a group of more enemies? Not watching where you’re going? Fighting a mob of powerful enemies at once instead of separating them, and then be surprised why you were ganked on?
Don't hate the game, hate the HP/SM/hitboxes/fall DMG/broken s[____]y ganks/fog wall no help/why I no Usain Bolt?/invisible monsters/skip dialogues/what's in the boOUAAARGGH! TEETH!/invaders that drink/Weapon, armour, rings at risk/previous but broken/grenade mammogram = INCORRIGIBLE SIN!!!!1! (until NG+)/B-Team non-conformation to His Vision™/poked off cliff laughing or emoting at *tongue but hole* /rolls into 20,000 fathom puddle/Yhorm Ruler unequipped/random glitch and stuck/Caelid Tours/big b o N K too heavy/INT issue/ADP what now?/long lists like this.
That first clip is so funny because that's how i imagine everyone who complains about ds2 gank squads plays these games. DS2 makes them mad because it tolerates running past enemies the least
Some enemies with massive weapons are cheaters, you cant roll and evade a little before the swing, the game blocks the roll diagonally upwards enemy and enclosed you exactly down the weapon area of hit, you need to roll very early.
Can't Towards Ensnared Down within Dodge roll I think I got the gist of it, however Godzilla remains quite dead. YT can't bullet point for shit, point down emoji.
At this point, don’t you think the “Thank you Dark Souls” videos should become “Thank you Miyazaki” instead? Granted, I guess this would apply to the titles he did take a hand in, otherwise DS2 wouldn’t count. Which, the DS2 comps are pretty hilarious.
Lol nothing i see here is Dark Souls fault...or even Miyazakis....there is only one thing and that would be i've never seen the knight spawn instantly after you kill him in the northern asylum but that as well could have been avoided by simply not killing him
