@Juggled Lotus but didnt miyazuki, or wtv his name was, said once in an interview that ds remastered was the last one before his retirement? Is someone gonna take over? Thats what im interested in, i dont really like the sekiro setting of jumping and clinging into walls in stealth mode, prothese arms and technology crap. Not related to this rn, but i like the Nioh setting even more than dark souls 3. So i finished nioh and when i saw that nioh 2 is coming. That made my year probably. Just only dark souls 4 or bloodborne 2, and i can die in peace
@@Stefan-lx9dz he never said he would retire, he said it would be the last dark souls game ever. Bloodborne 2 still has slight hope, but dark souls is long gone. He wasn't even involved with the remaster either. Sekiro is also not as amazing just because they have far less experience with that kind of combat.
@@Nihlm thats what i want to know. U said that he said that Ds Remaster is gonna be the last one from the series. Will that ever change? Will someone take over? Any news on that?
@@Stefan-lx9dz nobody else will take over soon and even if they do it likely won't be as good. Remember all the weird changes in ds2 and that's just when they delayed involving miyazaki. If he is completely out of the picture the combat and level design just won't feel right
@@middlepinfromwiisports4089 Oh yeah, he also doesn't exist. Imagine what he could do if he did. Oh yeah, it's also his brother, not actually him and Oh yeah, also, he's wearing a blindfold, he doesn't actually own the game, uhh, am I missing anything?
I laughed at him missing the plunging attack on the wyvern. Then I missed the plunging attack on the wyvern the first time I tried it. Thank you Dark Souls 3
@@executioner_ecgbert884 Wasn’t a flex, just sharing my experience. But I get that general literacy levels are down by a lot today. Probably have missed it since then.
@@ducasse8473 Like on any launch, game was a bit dumb on release tho. You legot didnt need to get anymore than 1 poise for max poise. Thank god they changed it.
@@Kostadin_Arolski I dont think so, the new mechanics like Ashes of War will mean that it will take some time before optimized builds are made. Also it will be a long time before people get an idea of what works and what doesnt. PvE in ER will proly be massive, so I expect the first year to be pve mainly.
@@cronoz-sensei4259 people from beta test will probably know a thing or 2 on how to screw you over tho. Someone even posted pvp footage but I forget who
+Noisemaker50 in DSII there was a place where you could jump off a cliff and land on small barely visible platform leading to a secret area. Not kidding at all.
+Noisemaker50 I've seen a couple so far in DSIII. Most notable is one that leads to an area behind a bunch of baddies that just mob you while you're on a bridge, so you can take them out from behind one at a time, instead of all together.
3:42 Hit the nail on the head, this is exactly how it feels when the messages fuck with you. Dark Souls may be difficult, but there's nothing more soul crushing than doing something dumb that doesn't matter a bit.
As soon as this video ends, I'm gonna go let my mom know that I just failed my entire semester of college again. So thanks for the finals laughs, Binky
5:03 if there’s any of those illusory “illusory walls” messages in ER this needs to return, the sound effect and the distant cries of dunkey yelling about his misfortune
See, he made a rookie mistake using the USB steering wheel. That worked well in DS1 and DS2, however DS3 worked much better with a USB joystick, like the ones you would play CoD with or fly with.
Tbh, the abyss watchers weren't as difficult as everyone says. Yeah they were fast, but I've Neve died to them on any playthrough. Just go play Bloodborne for a bit, then come back to abyss watchers and play like it's Bloodborne (i.e. do not use your shield, just dodge everything)
@@gavindillon1486 that's not what I said. I said get out of thinking like you're playing DS and start playing like you're playing Bloodborne. Obviously this doesn't work for some larger bosses (like yhorm, etc.) but it makes the abyss watchers more manageable
@@NULL-ug7ve i mean tbh it makes more sense to interact with hidden walls to reveal the hidden mechanism than it does to swing a giant fucking hammer at them.
1:09 thanks to the incredible force of energy Dunkey released with his yell, I have been inspired to yell this exact thing every single time I get a backstab on an enemy in any of these games and it never gets old. Bless you Dunkey.
I didn't play DS3 until after watching this video, and I tried the plunging attack on the Ancient Wyvern expecting to faceplant and instantly die. Imagine my surprise when it actually worked.
"Saying stop should be a feature in dark souls, where you say stop and the enemy stops" Fromsoft listened to Dunkey, according to his Elden Ring video lmao
So you bought a game you die all the time, people lie and are mean to you, and then you stay still while other players do your work for you??? THEY ALREADY DO THAT IN LEAGUE FOR FREE YOU NUMNUTS
Me playing Dark Souls 3. "I've done the other two I'll be fine." The FIRST treasure chest of the entire game is a friggin mimic. "Thank you Dark Souls."
