While yes epic does do all that, they also stop games from being published on Steam, "But isn't that a good thing, since Valve takes more money?" well yes, but actually no. See, Steam is a much bigger platform than the epic games store, as well as having many more features, and more importantly, more players. A lot of people only have an Epic games account for Fortnite/Rocket league, while keeping the rest of their game collection on steam because steam has been there first, actually has people trying to make Steam better rather than trying to make their competition run out of games *Cough* (Epic) *Cough* *Cough* but people will never leave steam because the customer experience is better, people have their entire game collection there (And unless we can move the ENTIRE thing over to Epic games store for free and epic store gets more QoL changes nobody will move from Steam to Epic) and steam is also doing sales like all the time so, yeah.
Man, THIS is why Fortnite is truly one of the best games in the world. Unlike other games they communicate with the community. Been playing since 2018 and will not stop thank you Fortnite
Man it feels SO GOOD to have a thank you video from T5G instead of a hidden secrets, tips and tricks, etc. Not hating on those vids, but it would be nice to implement something like this at least every month! Like number nine was just such a nice change of pace congratulating Donald Mustard on what he has done for Fortnite!
Absolutely, & those guys deserve it. I had that same thought, about how nice it was to hear some positivity out of the channel. I left a comment explaining how after I spent 800 hours this year, completing all of Destiny 2's content, I learned to appreciate Fortnite's devs that much more. Destiny is an awesome game, but it's badly monetized & poorly supported. We are truly spoiled.
In all honesty ya that is what made me want to return to fortnite due to how they listen to people rather than ignore them and proceed to kick them while there down
Both only care about money. If you look at it from a business perspective they both have investors and must keep their stocks up to keep investors happy. Fortnite can do this so easily while keeping their community happy where COD simply cant because older people play COD and older people are less likely to spend money on cosmetics so they find other ways which just pisses of the COD community.
@@onaticsyou think folks do this for fun? OF COURSE they care about the money… that’s what a business, their executives and employees are there for. But epic at least ALSO cares about the players.
As someone who never got a chance to play Chapters 1-3, it would be cool to have a Chapter 2 map or Chapter 3 map at some point. I don't know how it would fit into the story but seeing how there isn't one for Chapter 5 Season 1 I'm sure they can do it
It's so nice to see a development studio this big that actually doesn't suck! Of course I always wish they would fix save the world and change up some of the monetization of the game to make it more accessible to a larger audience. But even the way it is right now it's still a masterpiece!
Tbh Midas revenge didn’t bother me too much, I got both victory royales and I’m just thinking the ghost were actually pretty fun to play with the other players
Fortnite really does deserve Best Ongoing Game, I get what Cyberpunk did was great, but thats a Singleplayer game, and you are already done on the content for the game, Fortnite is a Live service game that has always been about innovation and change, next year Fortnite needs to win this award, its needed, the amount of feedback they have been giving us, the support, the transparency, its all really great and done better than most AAA studios out there! Thank you Fortnite for bringing my friends together day after day.
I used to think Fortnite was pretty lame but seeing what it’s become now. It looks pretty dope and I’m glad I started playing during the finale of Chapter 4 and have become part of the start of this amazing vision for the game. I can’t wait to see what happens next year now that I’ve finally joined this pretty cool community. Definitely a lot more I’ve seen coming from this game than others I’ve played over the years.
I had a bit of experience with Motion Capture for video games and gotta say they created a seriously fluid and cool movement animations and choreography for that Lego addition. Kudos to the devs. It's a funny detail you wouldn't neccessary expect in a game like this one. Ps. You almost saw me as Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)
Fortnite just has the best developers out of any game. Not to point any fingers (*cough cough* Call Of Duty *cough cough*), but some developers (*cough* modern warfare 3 2023 *cough*) release awful games and don’t listen to the community to help improve the game. Meanwhile, Fortnite will receive backlash for an update and, sometimes on the next day, update the game to the communities liking. P.S. I love your content T5G, we needed a video like this and love your other videos.
Everytime I come back to the lobby I always see the icon above my locker saying something is new but whenever I check it out the icon for something new is on the randomizer
it's crazy how generous and how they've been paying attention to they've community idk why Tommy didn't mention this but lego wasn't the adventure mode they were working on back in cp 2 sea 6 tho I don't expect them to release it any time soon but if I have to guess they will probably start working on it in 2024 or 2025 since they will have to make a separate team for it or stop postpone updates
2:50 You'd think Lego Batman would be one of the first crossovers because Lego Movie and Lego Movie 2 had him as a main character and he even got a spinoff movie.

The first couple are kinda backwards... the community doesn't love these changes because that's what they should've been from the start. Basically what he's saying is that Epic taking the game down for two weeks would be bad, but bringing it back up would be a loved change. No, they shouldn't have taken it down in the first place.
fortnite can go the extra mile with the lego skins and add classic yellow versions for skins like the star wars sets that actually had them. it’s such a minor thing but it’d be cool asf to do and it’d make every lego star wars fan happy

There is so much negativity out there right now and yeah, there are some things Epic has done that I'm not the biggest fan of, But aside from a few things, Chapter 5 has been absolutely Amazing so far and I'm just really glad to see a Video Appreciating what Epic has done instead of criticizing it.
what would be cool for OG season is if like selecting if you want ranked, you could select which season's map you wanna play on. For example, i could select season 5 and everyone who also selected it can play on that seasons map, and if you still want you could play the regular current map
I love how the community is, and how hard the devs work to make their vision when also taking feedback of players. Honestly what ketp me playing fortnite.
Imagine they didn't do it for only a month and for multiple seasons like 1 full season would be say chapter 2 season 1 and next season chapter 2 season 2 etc

There I one thing I wish they would continue: the storyline. It’s been so long and we haven’t heard from The seven or anyone else since the 1st season of chapter 4. We got Slone and Jones back in Season 3/4/ OG. But that’s it. No Seven, No IO, Not even the Peace Syndicate.
i actually have a story to share about Fortnite so after not being able to play Fortnite for one to two years (i stopped playing in C1S7, and restarted playing when C2 dropped), and the first thing i see when i open up the BR lobby, two new skins, Rose Team Leader, and Warpaint, from Epic themselves. although i pretty much never use the skins since i cant think of any locker combos using them, i highly thank Epic for giving C1S3 skins to me for free
Games like fortnite and pokemon really go out of their way to make the most highest quality content they can, and yet, and it's still so disheartening to see it, there are so many people who just sit there and complain. The person who got me into fortnite I've not once seen to be happy to play.
May i say, they need to fix rocket racing. 1. If i drift, i fall of the road even with barriers. 2. The nooks and crannies that randomly kill you when you hit them 3. The square tunnels, if i go on a different wall while drifting i turn around. 4. Ranking, im platinum 2 and if i get first i only go up 3% Put more reasons why rocket racing is absolute garbage
I really agree with everything here my only problem with Fortnite is epic just makes and replaces all the guns and most of the items each Season with stuff that are similar like we have a scar that isnt a scar and we have like 5 pump shotguns 💀

Stop trolling too. Epic is NEVER making OG a permanent mode. Its going to most likely come prior to new chapters. Making it permanent would be a really dumb idea and Epic is smart.
I think epic should remove minis in main game and increase Big pots or possibly introduce a new mini cos kinda seems underpowered not a complaint just a thought anyone agreee? (Obviously keep in og if reintroduced )
@@t_3my I want Chapter 2 Season 2 back more than Season 7, but I really want Chapter 4 Season OG back more than any other season if I’m honest. It wasn’t 100% the original map which I enjoyed and it was very nostalgic… best season in my opinion
