Your videos with your Niak definitely influenced my decision to buy one. There aren’t many videos on RU-vid of the Niak so it was great seeing someone using one in the same Scottish conditions that I’m out in. I’ve only had it a for a couple of months but I’m loving it. I upgraded to the 10mm poles from the beginning and it’s interesting that you’ve done the same, it seems to substantially improve the capability of the tent for summit camping. I look forward to seeing more camping vids on your channel, keep up the good work.
Thank you so much…Yes, I’m planning on travelling further afield once the fitness levels have improved again, I really like the sturdy feel of the 10mm poles. All we need now are the inner mesh and we are sorted 😂 Out of curiosity, I have yet to try a short length of guy line at the ring on the bottom of the door, wondering if this will raise or slightly for more height in vestibule or maybe slightly aid ventilation 🤔 Will try that on the next outing… ATB 👍
I came for the Niak review, but I stayed on your channel because of your great attitude towards your home countryside and people. I hope to get the chance to discover the Scottish Highlands soon. Until then I’ll watch some more of your tour clips.

I have now watched all your videos Sean, They have given me some motivation to get out there again, I used to camp at bike rallies and i have a caravan too but my plan is to now do some wildcamping with my dog. We might cross paths up the Ochils some day mate.
