What is interesting - the Poles are independent when it comes to food, electricity, camping and all logistic and infrastructure. They have own food, even tents. I am really glad Poland is helping its northern neighbor Sweden. Bez różnicy czy pis czy ktoś inny. Najważniejsze, aby po tym nowotworze, w którym jesteśmy cali upaprani, nie było śladu. PiS mi się pod paroma względami nie podoba, ale chodziło mi konkretnie o ten aspekt, o to komunistyczne i poddańcze bagno. No i kiedy widzę to kwiczenie i ataki ze strony wszelakich gnid to daję kredyt zaufania tym co go wywołują. Cczemu miałbym nie dać skoro wszyscy już praktycznie mieli szanse i jeszcze nas strugali jak chcieli w imię obcego i swojego interesu, mając przy tym zwykłych obywateli za nic. I think you are right when it comes to a Polish government: Poland is a very safe place since there has not been a single terror attack in the country, women can gather in public places without fearing of being raped and there are no no-go zones. Prosperity is also increasing in Poland: GDP in Poland can reach 5% this year which is a crazy number for Europe

EU fights with Poland and Hungary since they don't want people to see positive things. That you can feel at home in your home, that you (figuratively) have your rights. You won't hear from mainstream news about Poland or Hungary or V4 (Visehrad 4 group) when they do something good (and there is a lot happening). However any little steal, accident, riot done by 10 people or any smallest problem will be blown up in media to make people connect these countries (and especially Poland) with whatever wrong can be. I think some politicians even said we have firetrucks from 60's (lol) and unable to help, etc. Probably people say we have polar bears on the streets and are without power :). Tbh it's straight up anti-Polonism, but either way everyone is happy here in Poland to be able to help! According to our government 139 firemen and 40 or 44 trucks were sent. I think they mentioned about sending more, but for now they went with the idea of less but specialized equipment (and people) to fight with forest fire in particular. "Funny" thing is that when a little more than a year ago Poland suffered heavy losses from hurricanes and whole country was mobilized to save civilians, kids, etc. French and German media were shouting it's our government's fault (these two countries want to change our government). Biggest natural disaster since I think 1968 or so; two kids unfortunately died, but then "only" two when compared to how many people die during such tragedies. As far as I know no EU asked for our help. Swedish government asked and Poland replied (I guess among other countries). I think under some EU law of helping within EU, Poland has the biggest group of equipment and people that are capable of moving anywhere within EU to aid with help ("powerful rich" France sent less than a half of what "poor" and "nazi" (word used by: Morgan Johansson - pbs.twimg.com/media/Dip7D4vWAAAyo3g.jpg) Poland did. On a more positive side I'm very sure Poland is able to sent more help if needed (these cars and firemen as far as I remember were just from one district, so..), they spoke about it in media and there is obvious full support by Poles (and a very warm welcome by Swedes - thank you!) so I hope forest fires will be a thing of the past soon and you'll recover quickly from it! Oh, and remember: _United we stand, divided we fall!_ ;)

Poland sent 44 full equiped firetrucks and 139 experienced firefighters - at most of all countries helping Sweden with the fire and the woman is so arrogant. Sad.

Now is the time to work. Firefighters need to rest a bit, and then quickly grasp the situation. They are experienced and determined. I am convinced that after such a great welcome, they will not leave Sweden until the last tree in fire will be extinguished. We are with you Sweden.
Firstly, thank you Poland, and all other countries that are coming to our aid. Secondly, firefighting is NOT something that falls on the government in Sweden. It falls on the individual municipalities locally. Its illogical that any country have the strength to battle fires like these individually. This is why the ERCC is something great and something the EU is doing right.

You are thinking of MSB, which are organizing the efforts on a national level, out of what materials the municipalities have. But as of now they don't have any materials themselves in a garage somewhere. After this we likely will bump up our firefighting arsenal somewhat, but no EU country will be able to fight a fire on this scale, and thanks to the ERCC we don't have to.
