I love these guys, really do, but am very perplexed as to why the singer chooses to sing in a register he can't match during a live performance. That's always a let down and it seems like it's an ongoing thing with their live performances, singer always sounds like he's straining.
when you have cool ideas and they sound good once in a studio or when rehearsing you just fall in love with them. very important lesson here to feel comfortable with your ideas when performing. and i totally agree with you! but sometimes.. you overestimate your capabilities.
