I first discovered them when they opened for coheed and Cambria. At first I wasn’t paying attention but I’ll never forget when this song started. They killed it.
Having seen them live before as well as having seen other performances, this is definitely not their best sound imo. I've heard them sounding way tighter than this. Not knocking them at all, I think if anything it just shows that they've improved over time as a band.
Don't surrender Though you're so close to the bottom No, I won't let you down, no In this war disaster Echoes with their laughter No, I won't let you down, no But I'm about to burn your bridges Now I know that I don't belong here We'll miss you everyone It sure was fun, the times we all had We'll miss you everyone The time has come We'll miss you We'll miss you We'll miss you now So God damn determined to break down all barriers No, they won't hold us down In this war disaster I feel it fading faster. No, I won't let you down But I'm about to burn your bridges Now I know that I don't belong here, no We'll miss you everyone It sure was fun, the times we all had We'll miss you everyone The time has come We'll miss you We'll miss you We'll miss you now Had time to focus Don't think you'd notice If I was ever gone We've all been waiting For this moment So come along, lay your worries down We've all been waiting We've all been waiting We'll miss you everyone It sure was fun, the times we all had We'll miss you everyone The time has come We'll miss you We'll miss you We'll miss you now
TMV has been a massive influence on modern prog rock just generally to be fair. There is very little prog rock that you'll hear nowadays that doesn't take some inspiration from TMV.
