Former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s historic Patriots career is celebrated ahead of his retirement ceremony at halftime of New England’s home opener against the Philadelphia Eagles. Brady played twenty seasons under the lights at Gillette Stadium for Head Coach Bill Belichick, and was under center for the team’s six Super Bowl victories.

You don't have to be a fan of football to recognize there will never be another Tom Brady. This player came along in my life time and I'm honored to be a witness of his greatness. The only thing you can say is someone else is a better athlete, their arm is stronger or they’re faster. Nobody has the stats or championships like Brady.

Bucs fan here. Thank you Tom for letting my team be exciting to watch again when you were here. Unfortunately my dad who was also a die hard Bucs fan who repeatedly called you the G.O.A.T passed away from covid before the Bucs won the Superbowl. He was so happy when he found out you came to Tampa and said we going to the Superbowl BABY before the season even started but passed away mid season. Definitely an emotional night for me when we did win the Superbowl. Again thank you Tom! R.I.P DAD

My family moved to Mass at the start of the Brady/Belichick era. It was lucky and amazing timing. What a treat to watch those great Patriot teams for 20+ years (especially when Rodney Harrison was playing). Once in a lifetime. I'm grateful.

The thing that made Tom Brady great wasn't just his play, he was multi-dimensional, in a way that no other player has ever matched. He was talented sure, but he also conveyed passion that surged through the rest of his team and motivated them to play their best. This has never been more obvious than when he transferred teams to play for the Bucs. He wasn't just a great player, he was a phenomenon.

I remember the 28-3, my grandpa walked into the room saying I don’t know about this one, and I looked at him saying just wait, he has a trick up his sleeve. Wow watching this brought a tear to my eye 😢 I grew up watching Tom with the Patriots and now that he has retired, it feels as if the NFL is missing him. It is an end of an era but the dawn of something great. No matter if you were a rival of the Patriots or a Patriots fan, you respected him. I am a Patriot's fan since 1984. I've felt the bone crushing agony of defeat twice before TB12 came to play. The most incredible dynasty ever seen, what a privilege, an honor to cheer for such great history in the making. When I watched the Pats yesterday almost achieve a game winning drive it reminded me of the countless times Brady led a game winning drive but when we had the ball in SB51 in overtime I knew it was all but over when Tom had the ball, What a comeback "The Comeback Kid " A true ambassador to the sport. Absolutely love the symbolic significance of his induction into the Patriots Hall of Fame on June 12, 2024....6-12-2024....6 Superbowl rings, #12, Brady and 20 years with the Patriots (24 would have been nice 🤗). I realize Tom Brady probably won't see this....Thank you so much Tom for all you gave us. You made a positive impact on people in more ways than you might ever realize.

I’m going to miss seeing him play. I already miss the old days when I was 8-9 going to the old staidium freezing my ass off on the metal benches, saw him catch his first pass in the nfl against the dolphins in 2001. I won tickets to the games at school in dedham, and went to the game vs the browns as well. Went to the “pro shop” lol which was just a white tent that was cold as shit. On top of this dirt pile, it was such an amazing time, and I miss it so much.

Tom Brady is one of the best QBs of all time. His work ethic and dedication speaks volumes ! Additionally, when he made the move to Tampa, it was probably the best thing for him at the time. Now, he appears relaxed and perhaps enjoying his semi-retirement.
