I always come here for the fitness but every time i see your family i just get so happy that i watch through it all, much love to you for being a great dad and a great weightlifter.
Amen!!! I loved seeing the intro, it is teaching me how to be a good dad when I’m older. Celebrating holidays and birthdays with family, and friends, eating great food, etc
6:00 365, then 375 *Your approach is gold.* Slowly but surely you’ll get back to your regular numbers and beyond. Be patient, avoid injury, and we’ll be here waiting for your 405-410 to return. 💪🏻
@@9999-k9qalright bot lmao, you go try 365 and then try 375 after while being 153 BW. Even moving up 2.5lbs is a huge accomplishment and feels even better for the lifter! An improvement is an improvement! Don’t hate.
*Because of your vids, I got the first milestone PR of 135. (5’5”, 110 lbs)* *Following your current workout plan with the singles* *and with the encouragement of guys at my gym, I got it.* *THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDS.*
@Tankmaster 160 Thank you. ❤️ You’re right. I’m only going to do that once in a while. After the bench sessions I’ve been asking guys to help me with getting 5x10 push-ups. When I get stuck they assist with hands at my sides & under stomach. It’s legit. It’s the same as forced reps. I think that should also help build my foundational strength.
man the lil fella at the start of your video was really admiring.... not knowing it ...inchala youre becoming a great role model to the young generation watching you . in god speed man and stay safe and strong :)
I'm starting back at the gym Monday morning after a WAY too long of a break. Can't wait... although, we all know the first couple of weeks won't be too fun
Im not subscribed but ive been stopping by ur channel for around 5 years now. I had covid 2 times the first time being the first strain that was really killing people and it knocked me down major pegs. I canceled my gym membership cause my body just isnt as strong anymore. I hope you heal fully. Beautiful family peace be with you all.
Hey long, obviously you’re the expert with your body and are undoubtedly one of the strongest benchers out there. However, if you’re thinking about upping the weights and again I think you should consider a block based schedule. For example, if you were to split benching into 6 ish weeks starting with lower weights or RPE’s around 6-7 and finishing week 5 at your usual 9-10. Then, using week 6 as a deload and returning again at a slightly higher baseline hopefully. I know you tried smolov in the past and ended up getting hurt but that was likely due to the volume. Keeping your rep scheme the same and only changing the intensity of your sessions this way could allow more recover and help to induce periods of super compensation after deload. Hope you consider this and awesome to have regular uploads again!! -Noah
Nice workout session, I'm impressed with your progress. Currently stuck with 120 kg × 1, could you please share your program with us? Thank you in advance for what you do!
