This video was produced at my request by Lucas Perillo from Bocaina Conservation Biology. We talk about the results of a recently completed project carried out by the Ecology of Mutualism Lab of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (www.marcomello.org), which was funded by CNPq and other institutions, including Fapemig, Capes, PRPq/UFMG, PPG-ECMVS/UFMG, PPBio-MA, the LTER-SC, the Humboldt Foundation, and Ecotone Inc., who helped us with funding for equipment, software, operating expenses, scholarships for students, and infrastructure for laboratories and courses. In the reports of funded projects, CNPq now requests that the PI includes a video for the general public. I found this a great idea, because we need to explain to society what we do with taxpayer money, which funds basic science in Brazil and several other countries.
