I am not a vegetarian, but I love making vegetarian cornbread and herb stuffing. That is the side I am always asked to bring. I usually bring the green bean casserole too. Both of them are my favorite sides
My husband has to work this year. But ya know time and a half... lol. We make chili. So fritos pies for us. And we do the big ham and all the sides at Christmas... Happy Turkey day to you, Dallas .. And I love love You've got Mail. The look he gives the computer when he's typing or backing up and retyping... I love it..
Happy Turkey Day to you and your family!! Chili and Fritos sound soooo good!!! One of my fave combos!! Also YESSS it’s the little things like that in You’ve Got Mail I love too!! The aggressive deleting Tom Hanks does on the keyboard is classic!! Also “thank your” always gets me 😂😂😂
I live with my daughter. This year my grandkids are with their dad. So, I wasn't going to make dinner, BUT, I wanted leftovers to make sandwiches out of for the next day, lol! I'm making turkey, stuffing, gravy and cran sauce. Good 'nuff.
Also a libra (stripes is my fave color, yes!!) Aside from black🖤 All your dishes sound so good! We were sick and didnt make dinner 😭 but im trying to get better and have a redo!
Ahh I love "You've Got Mail". I watched it for the first time like maybe 6 years ago. And ever since it's become a favorite of mine. I just watched it the other day.
Happy Thanksgiving, ghouls 🍁 I’m a fan of all the side dishes. I can’t wait! And Friday will be nice. Making thanksgiving leftover sliders with some Hawaiian rolls. mmm
Love your grocery hauls ghoul! Have a great thanksgiving 💜 You’ve Got Mail is absolutely one of my favorite thanksgiving time movies! 💜 in the same vein, I always watch: Silver Linings Playbook, Sleepless In Seattle, and Julie & Julia.
Our Aldi’s finally opened!!! I missed it sooo much and when I walked in it was GLORIOUS!!! I legit shed a tear. I’m in Mississippi and I have heard that people don’t get it. I’m like what’s not to get but like everything in the store! They even had a whole section dedicated to just making charcuterie boards/spreads… and I kid you not I picked up the last 3 containers of the oatmeal cranberry cookies… those slap hard Happy thanksgiving 🦃🍽🍁!!!
Thanksgiving this year was relaxed. A big part of my family gets together and everyone brings something, so this year I had to bring the appetizers. How do you make your mash potatoes, the garlic and chives sound delicious! Always love seeing your ideas and how you cook them! Hope your Thanksgiving was great!
Ghoul, You’re such a delicious cook. Hope you let us into your kitchen more often next year. You could have a recipe book and we could learn so much! 🍂 Happy Thanksgiving!🍁
Happy Thanksgiving! We did the gluten-free, casein-free diet for my son's autism. I know how hard it is to shop for gluten sensitivity. Most times I did a lot of baking from scratch so he had his favorites to eat. A couple years ago he started eating regular food without any problems. He's an adult, but I still worry he will get sick again. Today I spent all day cooking only to have a 15 minute meal. 🤣 Finally took a few minutes to watch your Thanksgiving haul. Hope your feast was fabulous! Love to all! ***Jenn
That dang sickness tried to throw off my November, but I was NOT gunna let it get in the way of the feast!! 😂 Hope you have an amazing holiday weekend! 🖤
I had to put away my Halloween decorations 😿 Loved seeing your spookiness! I needed a fix!! Happy Thanksgiving to you, Dallas and the baby girl and all the Spooky Family!!
Happy Thanksgiving Jade, Dallas, and Neens ❤❤❤ I feel jellied cranberry sauce deserves at least a spot on the table and You’ve Got Mail is definitely in my top 10:favorite movies ! It’s a Classic !
my family has covid so no thanksgiving with them (i live with my boyfriend) and this year has been tough and we cant really afford a thanksgiving meal and all that but still very grateful for everything 😊happy thanksgiving to all❤
Alas I'm just cooking for myself as I'm recovering from hand surgery, but making easy versions of my favorites! And lots of pumpkin pie! Happy Thanksgiving Jade, Dallas, Neens, and all the Spooky fam! 🦃🦃
Thanksgiving at home with the PJS on and all day movies going ! That is my day planned ! Jade I’m with you on the cranberry in the can ! Love that ! I grew up with that and it’s a tradition! Lol 😂 Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁
Dallas and his “on a mission walk” at Costco? Same, sir. Same. 😂 I only go to Costco either before 7 AM for gas or after 7 PM for regular shopping, so I’m with you on avoiding the madness and irritation.
Yes the pasta joy pasta is the only one I will buy. Trick if you are making a cold noodle salad ie tuna salad macaroni salad, add some olive oil to it b4 refrigerating it, it stops it from getting chewy.
I am a Gemini which is probably why I like your channel so much! In UK we don’t have Thanksgiving and I am always fascinated by the whole thing. Tempted to try it one year but it isn’t a holiday here 🖤happy Thanksgiving to you, Dallas and Neens and all your US followers
Love the spooky Christmas intro!! Reminds me of krampus! 🖤 So as soon as you said you have pumpkin pie for breakfast... I went to my fridge to do the same 🤣🤣🤣🤣 good idea Jade! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤 Hubby, step daughter (6y/o) and I cooked at home for the 3 of us. Then we watched paws of fury. 🤣 Not exactly fitting, but we want to save the holiday movies for Christmas time. We got Jim Carrey's Grinch on bluray so I'm excited for us to watch that together. 😊 Happy holidays!! Love youuuuu!!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Happy Thanksgiving Jade! My hubby and I went home to Wisconsin for the holiday this year. So nice. My mom showed me how she does her stuffing recipe. My brother said he could skip the turkey and just eat mom's stuffing. 🤣 Could also just eat a plate of sweet potato with marshmallows! 😋 Hope you, Dallas, Neens, and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy the day. 🦃🍂🍁🧡
Oh ghoul…I am totally a green bean casserole fan 😊My husband is cooking the feast this year and his 1 sister’s family is celebrating with our family…our daughter, then, our son and his fiancé are coming over for dessert. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours 🦃🙏
I like to switch it up every now and again for holiday meals, sometimes I do a potato gratin instead of mac and cheese, and sometimes I do the mac and cheese. I stopped doing turkey because there's not enough of us to eat it, and I don't want to waste food. So I usually do a Cornish hen or a whole chicken. I alternate between my mom's recipe for corn bread stuffing/dressing and my seafood corn bread stuffing. Sometimes I do a good roasted Brussels Sprouts with a balsamic reduction glaze, and other times I do sautéed green beans with garlic. I'm a sweet potato pie girl, so I usually have at least one of those during the holidays. But cheese cake, apple pie, or bread pudding are often in the rotation to. And no matter what, I've gotta have some Cranberry sauce. I love Cranberry sauce, preferably homemade but I'll accept that canned version too. Pro tip, get your better than bouillon from Costco if you can find the veggie one. I use Better than bouillon often, so I buy the big jar at Costco. I'm usually able to find both the chicken and the roasted veggie version. Happy holidays, Jade! Also, thank you for moderating the group. 💜
Canned jellied cranberry sauce is the best, our family can’t do holiday dinners without it. I get the most excited about green bean casserole, it’s soooo good! You’ve Got Mail and Sleepless in Seattle are the best and dang if I don’t tear up every time I watch, just love them🥰 We also don’t do Turkey or meat, we keep it as vegan/vegetation as possible, it’s so great that there are so many vegan options these days. I just adore you and look forward to seeing what you’re up to next! I can’t wait to try your pumpkin pie recipe.🥧 Happy Thanksgiving!🦃
Hey Jade, Happy Thanksgiving!!!! Gemini here... LOL 🤣 A great Thanksgiving movie suggestion...Planes, Trains and automobiles! I'm going to my moms house but mostly to see family not so much to eat! Have a wonderful day everyone!🍂🍁🦃🍷🥂 ( Yes, pumpkin pie 🥧 for breakfast! with coffee or tea)
Hi Jade! Welll... my favorite is pumpkin pie with Reddi Whip and sweet gherkins ( but not together... don't freak!), my granddaughter will make 2 roasted chickens and green pozole instead of turkey, hope you, your husband and Mr Skeleton have a nice Thanksgiving, hello from Orange County, CA 🤗🦃🍁🍂🌻🍄🧡
You can also get shiitake mushrooms that are dried. You just soak them in warm water. (the water left over in the bowl is great as well) I live far far away from anywhere I could get them fresh. My favorite time to show is around 3 AM when no one is in the store.
Happy thanksgiving! I’m definitely a green bean casserole fan, myself! Pumpkin pie for breakfast is the best! I definitely need to find the Brussel sprouts recipe. We usually do balsamic vinegar and honey roasted recipe. My daughter might have celiacs. We have to take her to the specialists for further evaluations. And, I’m a Gemini moon. And Black Friday is my birthday this year. Have a good holiday.
My husband and I both work in the tourism industry; and since there are vast numbers of people who come to the land of Dolly for Thanksgiving we both work every Thanksgiving (and Christmas, and every holiday,,,, 🥴) So every Thanksgiving I make a crockpot of Turkey chili overnight on Wednesday so we can grab food whenever we get in from work, whenever that might be. I cook down a Turkey breast on Tuesday and use all white beans in the mix. So side note, to anyone out there who might care, please don't go away to a tourist place for holidays, because people who live and work in these places never get to have a proper holiday with our families because we're at work serving your families. And we're only at work because the people are here. Caveat over, have a great Turkey day. I enjoyed living slightly vicariously through you as you shopped for the ingredients for a proper Thanksgiving dinner. 😊
Happy Thanksgiving Ghoul🦃 Having both sets of parents over along with my brother's new girlfriend. I already made cranberries w/ pomegranate seeds, pumpkin pie, and apple pie. Always so much food. I always shop early hate being in crowded stores. Bought organic pumpkin puree at Trader Joe's back in October.
