In this case the went with deaf which sounds the same but has a completely different context, it a heavy opening comeback knowing the double entendre. Seems like you missed almost all Oppenheimers bars except for the ones referring to the MCU. -"Now I'm here to split U like 2 and 3 from 5" is a reference to Uranium 235 which is what you split set of the chain reaction to explode a nuke. Essentially saying he's about to blow Thanos into a billion pieces while simultaneously referencing the key component in his creation. -"Wanna talk about death, how about the one that looked at you and swiped left" is a reference to the comic version of Infinity War where Thanos didn't seek balance but tried to court Lady Death by killing half the universe only for her to completely shut him down (or swiping left, if you will) and go for Deadpool instead. -"You had your nuts handed to you by a Squirrel Girl" Squirrel Girl is one of the few heroes to ever defeat Thanos and she did it without effort and off-screen, also obviously wordplay on "nuts". -"We're in the endgame now, Tinky Winky" Endgame obviously and Tinky Winky is the purple Teletubbie which is fucking hilarious -"Ending it like Antman, all up in your stinky" is a reference to the fan speculation of Antman going microscopic, flying up Thanos ass and expand to blow him up as well as a reference of "raping Thanos" or "making Thanos his bitch" You have very good energy and pacing but if you *really* wanna enjoy these ERBs I suggest you do like a 5min research on the combatants before you react, just Wikipedia it or something. ERB always goes *deep* and often with layers upon layers and you *will* miss out on alot of really hard bars unless you know the references. (Also helps you not get flamed by annoyed fanbois 🤣) Just to be clear, I'm not me hatin on you. I genuinly think you have a fantastic personality for this kind of channel. here's a nice tid bit about thanos getting rejected by death. during the entire story, death wouldn't talk to thanos directly, only using a zombie minion to talk to him. the reason? thanos was so low on the cosmic hierarchy that death herself felt he wasn't worth talking to directly. after he got the IG and snapped half of the universe away, death.........still didn't talk to him directly. the reason this time? thanos with the IG was so powerful that he had surpassed her in the cosmic hierarchy and thus, death didn't feel worthy enough to talk to him directly.

@@darrnellbradley sailed clean over my head first time two and I´m a chemist. Worst is, I showed it to my fiance (chemist too) and she flatout told me I only caught half the bar. Because Uranium 235 splits into 2 Atoms (barium and Xenon I think) and 3 beta particles. so He split U (Thanos) like 2(Atoms) and 3(beta particles from 5(total released particles) and ofc 235(Uranium 235 the whole word play) And I was like "babe you caught all that hearing this fucking bar once? is there a nuke in the garden i should know about?"

Thanos opened strong. But once Oppenheimer started it, he clearly took over. I mean, the U-235 line itself was ATOMIC when you consider the need for U-235 to be "split" from U-238 in order to make "weapons grade" Uranium for nuclear weapons.
Uranium-235 was the main isotope for the early atomic bombs. Uranium-238 is used for the modern ones. U-238 has a bigger blast zone, and produces deadlier and a higher quantity of Nuclear Fallout. Look at it this way, the strikes on Hiroshima and Nagasaki didn't do much damage outside the heart of the cities. Modern nuclear weapons can take out entire metropolitan areas (which would be the main targets. If we factor out after effects of world-wide nuclear strikes (such as nuclear winter), most rural areas in the countries would be fine. Power grids would be fucked, but a majority of the capable men it would take to restore the grids (welders, electricians, construction workers, etc.) live in rural or suburban areas anyway. Would it take time for society to normalize? Yes, probably one or two decades., and we be looking at five decades for a full recovery (just because it would take time for the radiation to decay, clean the fallout, demolish and rebuild destroyed buildings, and rebuild the infrastructure (rail systems, highways, etc.)
The Dr Manhattan wasn't just a reference to the Watchmen, but to the Manhattan project which was the name of the Atomic development program that Oppenheimer worked on.
That u-235 line was the best bar in this whole battle. When you split an uranium atom in half with a neutron you get 2 atoms that make a chain reaction which creates the atom bomb itself. It's a nuclear fusion reaction. Love the energy though.

The split U like 2 and 3 from 5 comes from the isotope that was used in the atomic bomb, Uranium 235, which was used for the Nuclear Fission reaction (splitting of atoms) that caused the massive explosion and expulsion of Radioactive Fallout (debris). Early Nuclear bombs weren't as much of a danger outside the blast zone, though as the radiation had a very short half-life, compared to modern nuclear weapons, and the only reason it took so long for the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki to recover is because no one could've really prepared for the first nuclear strike, because they didn't know what kind of damage to expect. Also, reports of the damage from the first strike didn't reach higher levels of Government until after the Emperor at the time refused to give up, from the first strike. Fun Fact: Thanos' first line: "Haunting Guilty Conscious" was in reference to Oppenheimer being against the second nuclear strike on Nagasaki. He was fine with the first strike on Hiroshima, but was trying to push against the second strike.

Upon testing the bomb, Oppenheimer is credited with quoting the Bhagavad Ghita, with the line, "I am become death, destroyer of worlds." This is referenced both in JRO's first bar and in the squirrel girl bar. The atom split in the first atomic bomb was an isotope of uranium, designated U-235. That makes the split you bar work on 2 levels. The intention of this is evident from the subtitles, which list it as "U" rather than "you". Also, Thanos had one referencing throat cancer, where he dabbled in marvel and JRO's past, as oppenheimer died of throat cancer.

In marvel comics there is a character called the unbeatable squirrel girl and in one panel of her comic it shows her beating Thanos by herself with an army of squirrels. There was a bar that most reactors missed. "A pencil pushing Terran who never learned to love his bomb." This is a reference to a 1964 black comedy movie about nuclear war/proliferation that was titled "Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love The Bomb"
You also missed the part that Oppenheimer died of throat cancer - so the 'weak' bar you mentioned, was more of a personal direct hit to how he actually died.

Like others said, you missed a lot of the Oppenheimer stuff because of historical or scientific significance. Oppenheimer destroyed Thanos in this battle. The split U like 2 and 3 from 5 is the greatest bar in ERB history. It's a triple bar all in one.
