Thanos hit hard with the first verse with the burns and a bit with the second, but Oppenheimer had such a haunting build up that just blows up towards the end. This was such a awesome battle to end on for ERB

...or just because she didn't like Thanos. Deadpool was just coming into existence as a character back when the original Infinity Gauntlet mini-series was printed back around 1991, and Thanos gathered the six Infinity Stones and wiped out half the population of the universe in a bid to impress Death. She just turned her back on him and walked off, and he just went nuts from there.

Loved the “ split the U like 2 and 3 from 5 “ reference. This refers to the uranium 235 which is directly responsible for nuclear fission . In context of this battle, it’s the total destruction of thanos

A cpl things I like to point out... the death comment that op( father of the bomb) made about death swipe left is a shot at thanos love life. Thanos is love with death but she dont love him, shes in love with deadpool. It gets crazier than that but anyways. 2. Close to 226k died in the bombs. 3 in the towns that where bomb there was shadows burnt into the ground from the heat of the blast.

It took me half a minute to catch the Uranium-235 reference, but I did grab the Dr. Strangelove reference immediately. :-D (To my credit, I caught the Hadron Collider reference immediately too; that one seems to be going over lots of people's heads. Remember about a decade back, how they were about to fire up the Large Hadron Collider and everyone was scared shitless about the idea that it would kickstart a singularity and obliterate Earth's entire existence? Good times. ;-) )
