don’t think it’s a fair comparison because the games have to limit kratos because he was moving true to his speed and abilities it would literally just be a blur on the screen and saying kratos just “flipped a temple” is crazy he didn’t just flip a temple the creator literally said he flipped all 9 realms i understand thanos is powerful just feel like kratos was heavily underscaled here like come on “the hands of death could not defeat me, the sisters of fate could not hold me” i got my money on kratos

Even though Thanos has been able to ragdoll Marvel Thor, it should still be noted that Thor has been able to beat Thanos. It should also be noted that Kratos has died but his pure strength and will power he had cheated death if I am correct 7 times now. It was also said in God Of War 2018 that the Greek gods are stronger then the Norse gods and Kratos had killed all of them. With all this in mind I would like to say that when comparing to Thanos and Kratos feats that Kratos would win but it would most likely not be a easy fight. Edit: I just realized that even though Marvel Thor threw the world serpent, GOW Thor punched it so hard it went back in time to before it was even born which could be who knows how long.

In the end Thanos is a true warrior and a power house of total destruction too. Kratos can hit him with everything he's got, but it's still nothing to Thanos at all. Thanos is just far more stronger, powerful and durable in his own right.

The combination of Thanos' strength, durability, intellect, and technology makes him something special. He's tanked a point-blank scream from Black Bolt. Gone toe-to-toe with Galactus and Odin. Bitch slapped the Hulk and Silver Surfer. And there are versions of him that spit on Galactus and Celestials. Kratos is tough but not Thanos tough.

Looking at how they both have done in battles against there Thors and i think its safe to say that Thor over in the marvel universe outclasses the god of war version just based off of feats alone like anything GOW Thor has done Marvel Thor either has a feat that is better or done a more impressive version of that. I dont think Thanos has ever lost to Thor even one time not even when he was amped by the power gem or when Thor had help like from the rest of the avengers. Meanwhile GOW Thor beat Kratos in the beginning of the game and technically killed him and because he wasnt allowed to kill kratos at the time he revived him. Now too be fair to kratos he was holding back because he didnt want to fight him. Thor even said as much. Still though Thanos has done some more impressive things like one shotting Silver Surfer and taking on Galactus and Odin so yeah the mad titan wins

The fact of the matter is, this was always onesided. Thanos is just on a completely different tier to anything or anyone in the GoW series, including Kratos. MCU is the only version that would lose here.
