Tharon village is approximately 27km from Tamenglong District of Manipur. The village is gifted with many natural wonders to behold. One such is the Cave. Stories abound about the cave. The cave was recently fitted with solar light. One can spend hours exploring the cave as there are so many routes and rooms in the cave. Several of the outlets had been sealed as there was fear that one may get lost in it. Some of the well-known room includes a dancing hall, a lover's hall, upstairs, downstairs, and chalen leiboki (room where bats were beaten to death as they would reside there in bulk today it is prohibited to do so).
A better time to visit the cave is during the winter season.
