I did not think about the bugs, but growing up in south Louisiana I sure get it.

I came out of NY harbor just a drizzle once i got 3 miles out tropical storm Fillepe offshore kicked up 40 knot winds with 9 foot seas, had to put up with it a couple hours until i could get in Manasquan inlet...Grand banks 36 twin 120 Lehmans went thru it pretty good I had to zig zag to cut thru waves , it happened again before i got in to cape may but not quite as bad......
