An amazing actor. Even in the good star treks he was the president of Earth, A Cardassian security officer, and the commanding military officer of the Krenim Imperium.
The characters always kinda had a hatred for Red because he was strict as hell, but seeing that he pretty much gave up his basement for the kids, gave them a place to stay and supplied them with all their needs whenever they needed help, and literally saved Steven's life by taking him in, he might as well be the most caring guy on the show
My favorite is: Eric: "You know, it seems like bad things are always happening to me, like I have bad luck or something" Red: "Son, you don't have bad luck. The reason bad things happen to you, is because you're a dumbass"
I would have to say that if I had a pair of super wide Donald duck type shoes, that they would just naturally be up Disney's ass. Metaphorically speaking, of course.
Red kept Hyde’s rent money, and then he returned it all as a send-off gift? Red lost his job and was unemployed for a decent length of time on this show. That’s quite the gesture to return Steven’s money to him, considering that Red could have rightfully dipped into that rent money when he needed it to support the family - which includes Steven. It makes the gesture even more honourable.
The older I get the more I identify with Red. Also how much of a champ was he. Struggling to pay bills, feed his family. Then when Hyde is abandoned, he not only takes him in, but saves the money he pays in rent and gives it back to him to help him in life. #greatesttvdad

One of the VERY few sit com dads who wasn't an idiot or a wimp. Nobody effed around with Red Forman. Just a great comedic portrayal that didn't paint the character as the typical doofuss.
Agreed! There was alsoJames Evans, Philip Banks, Dan Conner, Carl Winslow, Andy Taylor, Ward Cleaver, Frank Mitchell, Jack Arnold, Hank Hill, Julius Rock and Mike Heck. Real intelligent, strong, funny and honorable tv dads don't exist now and tv is worse for it.

I loved when Red stood up for Hyde against Eric. He basically explained in one scene why he respected and had love for Hyde. The dynamic between Red and Hyde always makes me smile.
My most fav insult of his will always be “so I guess this is the way an immature, engaged, high school dumb ass with no car, no job, and no money, trims the hedges”
Legit my favorite Red moments: "Look, I'm whipped cream head." and "His name was... Peter. Peter Cottontail hopping down the bunny trail." In both he was drugged beyond comprehension.
My favorite moment is from the garage sale episode where Bob confronts him about having the Christmas present he got red for sale and red is brutally honest and says "it was a terrible gift bob"
I remember quoting Red when I took care of my nephew who needed a place to live. I said I was tired of being “f%*king Santa Claus “ like he did with Steven. Still took care of the kid, but had to be the bad guy to make sure he knew how lucky he was to have people who loved the crap out of him. Reminds me I need to buy a new pair of shoes cause a couple are still stuck in his ass. But he graduated high school and is a successful marine.
I think my favorite is 5:40 where he isn't really mad, and loves that they stole Fatso Burger's clown.... and has to pretend "foots in asses"! I die every time!

after watching a whole bunch of f is for family (where the actor of red plays sue’s father), i can definitely see where the inspiration for frank came from
Red Foreman is basically the same as Squidward When you are a kid, you hate them. They are so mean and grumpy When you are an adult, you realize they were the most sensible people in the whole show
I loved watching That 70s Show when it aired on tv 📺 😁😂. Kurtwood Smith stole the show as Red Foreman and i cried laughing alot when he said : Dumbass! To the kids 😂
