I love that hugie wasn’t in pure pain the second it broke, you can hear the slight laugh and disbelief in his voice, that quickly fades into pure pain, whoever directed this scene is a genius
@@laughablefebruary14th is it worse in japan? i know they have crazy work culture but will it really be "oh you broke your arm, allright see you tomorrow"
Former lifeguard at a water park called Wet n Wild. We would always launch guests down this water slide before the countdown if they looked scared. If they had attitude or something we'd wait until after and pretend something was broken for a second 😭
@@N3c777 It's not permanent, I know someone who shattered their Radius and Ulna (Lower Arm bones) and recovered completely after 3 months, the bones will actually calcify better if treated right.
Love how the boys are all concerned for Hughie while Butcher is impressed that Hughie is willing to go through this without pain killers and is also enjoying this as payback XD
I love how even though she's quiet, she's attentive, engaged and understands. It would be so easy to just leave her in the background but tiny reactions and actions speak really loudly.
She did so much better a job with her than the comic did. In the comic shes literally just called The Woman and her whole character is being silent and violent
he's the only one that too me the character did not slip even a little. while slightly impressed he's still mostly just enjoying the show, very butcher lol.
The writing and character growth for Hughie is fantastic honestly unbelievably well written, he never stops being Hughie but gets more and more badass.
I don't get how they don't wait until they finish the mission before breaking Hughie's arm. He only needs to have a broken arm before showing up at work and by breaking his arm this early, what they then have is a handicapped team member before going on a mission.
@@shadows_star well people tend to back out if they expect something. Probably didn't want to break it exactly when he decides to back out. That should be given, so he asked for it. 😅
@@babelette yea it's the best thing you could do for the person your doing it to, cause they won't be fearing the end of the countdown they don't expect it halfway through
