@@pinkbunnymaanya we do not care Look. The whole reason I started this "war" towards such a meaningful comment, was because I just wanted to see what people replied just to realize I wasted my time. So I said we do not care
ain’t no way it’s her first time… those single crochets are so uniform… and her form is so good wtf edit: please stop responding and telling me it’s an ad i know😭
@@sashamolina8478 Yeah, but can instructions fully replace experience (tension, mistakes in following the pattern, where to put markers so that it works great for you)? Maybe that's what the commenter was talking about. Though perhaps they could just be skilled and maybe even have worked with tips aside from just watching them? I'm not an experienced crocheter, so take my words with a grain of salt.
I've never crocheted or knitted in my life and I just completed the body of a woobles Narwhal yesterday. It looked this good. The instructions are just super clear and I followed them.
Ive cried my eyes out for like 4 hours trying to crochet an animal and she’s doing this? Wtf I’m so done someone plz send a video that they did for their first crochet or please please PLEASEEEE give me tips 😭
@@gabbyr.5842 I would watch videos on the stitches first and how to read patterns and all that jazz but I just recommend watching the videos that work with your dominant hand (the hand you hold your hook with) but don’t get stressed out, we all start somewhere you’ll get it and be so happy one day and everything else will just *click* ❤️
@@gabbyr.5842if you are struggling don’t start with crocheting animals or actual clothing as it can be confusing for your first time. watch beginner videos on youtube and practice the stitches by crocheting small circles and squares to get used to crochet, how to hold the hook and the yarn, how to increase and decrease, practice chaining, single, double and triple crochet etc. after you can do that you will find moving onto proper patterns much easier
also do not forget that UK and US crochet use different terms so always double check which one your pattern is using :) i have had the frustration of getting half way through a project and realising it is an american pattern and i had been using UK crochet !!
yeah, it’s not actually her first time, but the woobles kit does explain very well, and when I used a wooble kit I did a magic ring on my first try. I struggled a lot tho. Also it’s crocheting not knitting (not to be rude just saying)
Yes crocheting is very addicting and you’ll get very angry when you can’t find something to crochet lol MOMMY IM FAMOUS How did this comment even get 8.7k 😭😭😭❤️🥹 BRUH HOW DO I HAVE 9.2k THESE ARE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE 😭🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 OMGGGG 9.4k guys you don’t have to keep liking 😭❤️❤️love y’all (BTW I just sold my first crochet plushy. It was a custom octopus, and she loved it.) should I start a website?
@@Akutagawa.s_Head_LolThis is her brand so she’s just giving a demo. I tried one of these and I had no result to the picture but I still made it! They helped me learn, but no, it ain’t her first time.
That yarn is so beginner friendly. She definitely isn’t a beginner but I will say that these kits look really good for people that wanna try crochet but don’t know where to start. Project isn’t too big, comes with everything you need. It’s a nice kit to either get into or learning if you actually like crochet without buying too much :).
@@Elienid63 I’ve been using sidar hayfield bonus DK for the last 8 months or so, and I feel you. I will say, you get used to it, both correcting yourself when you split threads and learning not to do it in the first place. But whatever you feel like you wanna crochet with is perfect…some people use plastic bags to recycle them. Some people use fabric strips, or lace, or literally anything that can be turned into a strip. Experiment :).
I just started crotcheting today, and unless you are a God in human form, there is absolutely no way this is your first time. You know the exact position and how to chain perfectly
Ive cried my eyes out for like 4 hours trying to crochet an animal and she’s doing this? Wtf I’m so done someone plz send a video that they did for their first crochet or please please PLEASEEEE give me tips 😭
@@gabbyr.5842there is a really great amigurumi tutorial by olliehollycrochet that ive been following! ive also been struggling to learn crochet but ive gotten the furthest with their tutorial than any other one ive tried.
@@gabbyr.5842 i’m working on my first project right now and my only advice is don’t undo the entire project if you notice a small mistake, it doesn’t have to be perfect
Making things is ABSOLUTELY ADDICTING! But also me with the adhd just dropping an unfinished project to make a new project lmao! I have a half done blanket and the only reason i finished a thing for my mon was because christmas was my deadline lol XD
Luckily this crochet comes with fluent and easily formatted instructions! it was my first time too making this crochet, which is why i got the kit, and i picked up very fast because they broke it down into easy and simple things. Im pretty sure in the ad, this wasn’t their first time since usually thats how advertisements work, but you’ll get better soon :)
Is it actually the owner? Or is it someone she sent a PR kit to? I don’t know enough about this company. The ads starting showing up for me when they switched packaging & people were upset about it lol
This makes me happy! I love when people pick up crocheting. Not only do they get the chance to pick up a new skill. It is also used as a coping mechanism and you also get to make cute stuff. I have been crocheting for over seventeen years and have made tons of different items and it really just makes me happy seeing this woman learn how to make a penguin in one day! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I started crocheting 3 days ago, I've always had the "equipments" for crocheting bc I wanted to start it a few years ago but never actually crochet bc it was a bit difficult at first but I picked it up again and it's very addicting! And also makes me focus on it and I love that :D
I'm so excited for you!! Congrats on mastering a new skill and coping mechanism! I have been crocheting for over 17 years. I picked up after one day of watching a staff member from a residential home I was at, crochet a hat after I asked her to teach me. I picked up quite quickly. It always makes me truly happy to know when others master something so beautiful and calming. Kudos to you!
Got into crochet just cause I thought it’d be easy as embroidery. I should have known from my previous track record that no way I’m finishing a project w/o starting a new one lol😭. Yes crocheting is DEFINITELY addicting
When I first started crocheting I used a small plastic hook which wasn't very comfortable to crochet with so the result wasn't the best but still good. Then I got a normal hook and crocheted an octopus which turned out super cute, I also couldn't believe that I made it😂
I started with a woobles kit, this was not the persons in the videos first time, but it was my first time crocheting and it taught me all the basics, 100% recommend
honestly only ever crocheted a chain but i really love it so much. i measured the chain when i did it and it was three feet. i’ve never been more proud of three feet of yarn in my life.
When I started out, I definitely made the messiest sc ever so there’s no way bruh. She made them so neat and uniform, I’ve been crocheting for 5 months and sometimes I still make my sc messy once in a while during my projects 😭
Yall it's not her. She is a worker for the kit, called Woobles. The penguin is part of the woobles. If you look, Her channel is full of many different people learning how to crochet with the woobles, Just so you know :)
*from a real first timer that used this product:* it was lots of fun!! it was calming once i got the hang of it. the starting is a little frustrating, i had to restart like 3 times. but after i finally figured it out, it was super easy. the videos are really helpful, they go over everything and even make it beginner friendly by giving you easier ways to get the same outcome. i got the dinosaur, he's cute. he's a little lopsided, i think i miscounted at some point, but its still cute!! the kit genuinely comes with everything you need. they also start the circle for you for the main body, but then later they teach you how to do a circle to start a project. the only downside is that theyre about 30 dollars each, which is kind of a lot especially if you try it out and dont really like it. i would 100% recommend to anyone that wants to learn how to crochet or anyone that wants to give it as a gift!!
@@RebeccasPetCareso? I started crocheting earlier this year and one of the first things I made was a turtle. Anything is easy when you can follow directions.
That’s amazing!!! And same once I started I was addicted lmaoo it’s been a while but you just reminded me I have to finish the leaves for my strawberry hat from a few months ago 😭
@melunace ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vw8uQw34Aac.html or ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0cHhnnhFBTI.html I like the first one more!
I started learned crocheting the day before..now I've crocheted a couple bracelet,a green headband and now I'm trying to make a cat beanie. My friends said it's boring to crochet but I find it fun
I feel like crochet is a good thing to get your mind off of other things because if you get upset easily and you mess up a lot crocheting you'll completely forget about what you were upset about before and you'll get upset at the crocheting instead it's still fun though don't get me wrong
You actually did really good! The stitching looks VERY even and you didn’t sew anything on inside out! Congratulations on making your beautiful little blue penguin! 🥰❤
Idk I learned to crochet from theses kits and they are amazing quality… it’s a great way to teach people the basics so something like a sweater is much less daunting.
When I first started crocheting, I went in a straight line of slip stitches without even knowing it and my work kept shrinking. So ain’t no way it was their first time. 😂
My first crochet project was an among us crewmate, I didn't really like it because I made it from this awful scratchy yarn so I couldn't really use it as a plushy. At least that didn't put me off of crochet
I was very humbled when I bought one of these. It took me 10 times to get the first round right and I had to undo the whole thing so many times. Realistically be prepared to spend at least a month finishing one of these lol
Iv been trying to crochet but I’m just learning from what my mom can remember and I have made rows but idk how to go to next stitch so my mom is teaching me so where did you get it
"I have never crochet before" Her: Starts doing the hard penguin crochet on her first time* Oh and that's great too I have crochet before but I can not do that- what I say was weird to though-?
bro I wish I could go on a long road trip to get comfy in the backseat and do things like make bracelets, try and crochet, etc. Also that is adorable ✨😭
There’s a lot of people saying that she can't do that on the first try, but i think she can! Yesterday was the first time i touched a crochet hook and tried countless times to do a chick, the result was perfect! The thing is try and redo if not good enough 😅.. when you try again you see the errors you make and the next gets even better!
I don't know a lot of crochet, but there's a tip: See videos on YT of how to do certain stiches, they help a lot! I studied certain things before I started doing crochet, and did a lot of tries to make it better and better.
