When I was in 9th grade (mid-'95-mid-'96) my family moved to Missouri for a year and I guess at some point during that year ReBoot started airing on Saturday mornings there. I'd only gotten our family into watching The X-Files that year too, but my younger brothers were watching ReBoot one morning and I remember when I came downstairs for breakfast my mom was dying of laughter from the X-Files parody in this episode. Good memories. ^_^
This was one of my son’s favourite shows. I loved the opera one where Bob went ‘face to face to face to face to face with Hexadecimal’. Great memories. 🥹🇨🇦
I have to complete Reboot DVD"s from the first episode to the very unsatisfying cliffhanger series ending. The X-files episode was one of my favorites. I believe Enzo was first used in a Def leopard video.
LOL that was a big surprise. I had no idea this show was a thing. I guess it never aired in my country. We did had, however, Adult Swim on Cartoon Network after midnight. Now I wanna watch Reboot. I enjoy this kind of 90' humor.
Reboot didn't reach my part of the world at the time but there must be loads of these kinds of x files spoofs across a plethora of shows, especially when the show reached its peak around seasons 3 - 4. Do you know when this aired in relation to the x files run?
The only other spoof I can think of is the Simpson's episode but I'm sure there has to be others. When this episode came out xfiles was roughly half way through season 3.
