Every time I hear this story, I remember the day that my train was stuck for two hours at the station before Amsterdam Central Station while I had an important test, because Jared Padelecki stopped all the trains. Of course I only found out that it was him a couple of months later when he told this story.
The test was rescheduled, because I wasn't the only one stuck in a train somewhere trying to get to Amsterdam at that point. :P I will definitely mention it to him, haha. If I ever get to meet him, that is (fingers crossed).

Loved to hear Jensen and Gen's versions--but they forgot Mark Sheppard! When they got to the convention scheduled after their trip, they told the story in the Green Room and Mark got angry and allegedly said "No, I don't think it's funny because my bloody train stopped in the middle of England! That was YOU!" XD
It wouldn't have been in England - our trains have no connection with the continent. Maybe he was on a Eurostar though. :D Poor Mark, Jared always finds a way to annoy him!

Nah man, Mark Sheppard (Crowley) was the best. He was inside the train just leaving London when it stopped. He missed the connecting trip and he lost a few days on his week off. When he found out he was so freakin' mad. "JARED, THAT WAS YOU?! YOU RUINED MY VACATION?!"

i think one of the reasons is because she looks after their two boys, i know for this particular con danneel was caring for her daughter plus tom and shep so that gen could go to rome
Jared, Rich and Rob are like the three embarrassing toddlers and then Gen is the quiet mom who now laughs through her embarrassment as she tries to explain why they are like this.

Just shows how close and comfortable they all are with each other that they feel free to act like squabbling kids... that plus they LIVE for the fan reactions and the fans seem to really dig it when they get more natural interactions like this than formal Q&A stuff XD if the fans are enjoying the bickering they will bicker more XD

Blitz It's the same depending where you are. some medical will only make you hungry but not high which is usually what they use for cancer patients. Other medical gets you high if it is for anxiety or something of that sort. But like I said it's all the same thing. Just some has the thc (what gets you high) taken out of it. It could be different in other places though

It's an incredibly funny story, but what they did was actually quite serious so it's right that they should have got fined. But still, I'm glad the fine wasn't too big! (which isn't reasonable of me really - if it had been someone else I knew nothing about, I would probably be annoyed it wasn't more).

Gen should have her own panel. Her character was one of the most prominent in the show that nearly brought down the brothers. But because some crazy fans during those time throw some really serious shit at her, she never had her own panel. I would really want to know Ruby's backstory & her motivations. Even Dani never really got involve with the conventions. I'm glad we got the equally eccentric Vicki who never really bothered with crazy fans and real SPN Family warms up to Gen. I adore her. But I really hope one day Gen gets her own panel.
She's never done a panel or appeared at a convention as a listed guest (only ad hoc with Jared like this or at A14 last year) and it's likely this is because of all the hate she got early on, both as Ruby and as Jared's girlfriend and wife.
I think it's a very tiny minority (with correspondingly tiny brains) who behave badly like this, and that it's generally online too. When I've seen her at events she's been greeted with much love and responds in kind. She's totally lovely.
Agreed. She nearly had her own panel at one point & it was said she got some death threats that Jared ask her not to do it. I think Jared nearly boycott the whole convention at that time. These so called fans really makes the majority looks bad. Remember the strange fan called Stephanie Ware? And that fans who stalked Jensen to his home that Jensen had to tell them off? Le sigh....
Just when I thought the train story couldn't get more epic, the final, glorious puzzle piece of a stoned Gen being the only one keeping her shit together completes this story and it becomes a divine epic of holy proportions. Gen truly is a national treasure.

it doesn't matter how many different times i've seen this story told on youtube, it's always gold- and i've seen jared do it, and richard do it, and prob. them telling it additional times. Gen makes it different! :)

I love how they all act like Gen but high, how Jared jumps up for a "Back Story", how Jensen came on stage and ran off with his jacket flying, and their acting. I could go on and on. 😂😂😂
I honestly can't believe how much each one of them fit to their characters so well!!! they're like perfect cutouts of their own characters - Richard\Gabe is the comedian, theatrical, jokester, knows how to tell a story. Jared\Sam is sarcastic and goofy and adorable, God is just standing on the side trying to make order of things and hear about his son's shenanigans, even Gen - I mean, doesn't it totally fit Ruby to be the one getting high on the trip to Amsterdam? I just can't help but seeing Sam, Ruby and Gabriel going on a trip to Amsterdam and having this wacky adventure there, than telling God about it (fit. Dean bursting into the story and telling about how his train broke down in Germany)
