U need to actually watch the Game as Kolbe didn't take a dive the Irish-Player walked into his running-line & he saw this instinctively tried to avoid the Irish-player by trying to rapidly change his running-line to avoid a collision & slipped-on the turf which is why he fell way before actually making contact with the Irish-Player; this is also why Referee disagreed when Boks enquired abt Obstruction-ruling as the Irish-Player had not actually blocked Kolbe cos Kolbe slipped before actually being blocked/obstructed!!!!
Come on mate, he 100% dived trying to pretend it’s a foul. TMO AND OFFICIALS looked at it….first game was a fiasco from Irelands perspective. Try was down, clearly. Late tackle on our scrum half offside, James Lowe was out of bounds…nobody crying about that. It’s 1-1
You can't say that Ireland don't look as good as they have had previously and not watch the game! It was Ireland's best performance in the Farrell era. Ireland are not a team in decline. They are refreshing their roster as opposed to "in transition". I'm worried about Furlong. Porter is still getting on the wrong side of referee. You can't describe them as world class if they get marmalized in the scrum. It's nice to have props that are good footballers but they have to do the basics. Kelleher is supposed to be a better scrummaging than Sheehan, so that is not a good sign. This is a work on before we meet New Zealand in November. Otherwise, the tour was positive. To replace Sexton we need a confident flyhalf and a competent captain. With Crowley and Frawley we have our fly halves. Caelon Doris is our captain going forward. Osbourne is the find of the tour. We now have a backup to Keenan that will push him hard. O'Mahony, Healy and Murray are likely to be put out to pasture before November. At the very least it's their last season. We know who is replacing Murray and O'Mahony and they got gametime on this tour. The frontrow will be better in November but it is still a work in progress. To equal the series without Sheehan, Aki, Hansen, Henderson, Jameson Gibson Park, Conan, Casey, Keenan, Stewart and O'Sullivan is not a sign of a team in decline. New Zealand might have not been at their best when we won that tour 2 years ago, but you can't say the same about this South African team.
